Perfect size. Love this for using with my Copic markers . Paper is decently thick

She likes the size of the sketchbook. What she likes the most that it will fit in a small tote bag. Alcohol markers do bleed through the paper so make sure you have something behind the artwork to prevent the color from transferring the next page.

I love this sketchbook. I love the thickness of the paper and the minimalist white pearl cover and the size is just right for my comfortable drawing size. I’m picky with sketchbooks, they need to function well but I find it difficult to sketch in a book that isn’t appealing in design on the outside. This is perfect for me and easily customizable if you wanted to add stickers to the front. For my personal style I like the texture the markers make on the paper. Depending on your technique you can maintain a level of “messy” marker strokes or you can get a smooth finish with no signs of marker strokes. I like to blend the two for an organic & intentional feel. Some things to consider- This isn’t the specialty Copic paper that has a bleed proof backing, I believe the thickness was an attempt to minimize, not prevent. If you’re heavy handed or tend to layer a lot I wouldn’t use this. You may be able to minimize bleed by letting the markers dry completely between layers. I didn’t have problems with bleeding until I started doing a lot of layering for shading. That being said, it would be a good idea to use some washi tape and stick a “paper shield” to the inside cover so you can easily put it between pages when you draw. Easy fix if you’re nervous. For me the price and aesthetic is right, I’ll take the extra precautions and keep buying.

Smaller than I thought but very nice paper

This is the nicest little sketchbook. It fits in my purse. The paper is thick and smooth (like it should be). And I really like using my Copic markers with it. I definitely think it's worth the price and although it has too few pages to last a long time. I think it will hold up well while being used I'm looking forward to filling it up and purchaseing the next one.

For anyone who geeks out over paper, this is fun little notebook.
