I will hopefully never not have one of these
It works extremely well and washes easily. The clips are sturdy and allow it to have a tight fit! This makes my life a lot easier, and I am no longer wasting noodles!

Extremely Useful
This Clip-On Colander is a game changer for me. It clips on the side of my pan to easily drain vegetables, noodles or ground meat. Dishwasher safe makes it easy to use. Small storage footprint in the cabinet. Great product.

I've used these same ones before and they do a fair job of straining pasta
It's a little bit clunky and challenging for me sometimes to get them clipped to the pot because I have arthritis--and I certainly wouldn't ever use to drain heavier things like potatoes--but pasta is OK and frozen veggies are ok to use it for. They're handy to have a few around instead of keeping a bunch of full size or collapsible strainers. I find when I remember to use these clips that cleanup is a breeze and the kitchen is less cluttered. They are totally worth having!

Convenient and Handy
For years I'd been using a firm plastic strainer like this that had to be held against the lip of the pan with one hand while you held and tipped the pan with the other hand. Every time I used it, I'd think that I was taking a big chance on badly burning my hand. I even bought a new set of cookware with straining lids. They worked if you had 15 minutes to just stand at the sink while water trickled out and steamed your face and hands. When I saw this strainer, I figured I'd give it a go. Even though it looks precarious it's quite solid, stays on well, and works great. I've found I have better luck if I put the strainer on the pan before I start boiling the water. If I forget and try to attach it to the pan just before I strain, it seems awkward and difficult which is troublesome when you're dealing with a pan of boiling water.

Pleasantly Surprised!
I figured "Why not"... and I'm glad I bought it, it actually worked really well. even my mom said it was nice because straining a pot or pan one handed can be hard for her. the other reviews are right they don't work great with a thick lip as the space between the clip and strainer isn't very wide but it does hold to the pot/pan well and even if there's a small gap it keeps your food in. Dishwasher safe too.

Great for what it is. I do still prefer a traditional colander.
I bought the Snap N Strain Pot and Pasta Strainer as an alternative to my traditional silicone colander. My previous colander broke, and I am in the process of moving, so I was looking for something on the inexpensive and smaller side that would prove convenient and not bulky when it came time to move to my new place. I intend on buying a more traditional colander, but I thought this would be a great substitute in the meantime. As someone who spends a lot of time in the kitchen, I was really excited to find an easier way to strain my food, finding something that allows me to keep the food still in the pot, rather than having to transfer the food back and forth between the pot and colander. In simple terms, does it strain the food, yes. Were there some challenges, yes. When I first used the strainer, I thought the concept itself was very easy to understand, but I found when attaching the strainer to the pot, you have to really push down on the strainer for it to clip onto the pot and become secured. While I like that the strainer does become rather secure once clipped on properly, it is the struggle to get it clipped on that I find worrisome. When dealing with hot food/liquids, the last thing I want to do is feel like I am struggling with the pot/strainer.I also found that, depending on the size of your food, the food can slip out on the top. I've noticed this more so is the case with larger food items or when you have more food in the pot, for example, a family-size box of tortellini. This can prove wasteful if you're not careful. I recommend a bowl underneath or something to try to catch the food. You also need to tilt the pot quite a bit to get all the water out. I have found that some water can get trapped and you can't really shake out the water like with a traditional colander.Despite the issues I found, I think this is a great tool when you're in a bind. I don't think it replaces all the benefits I have found with a traditional colander, but it does what I need it to do for now. Once I move into my new place and purchase my preferred colander, can I say that this will be moving from its spot in the cupboard? No, I don't think so.

It Works! Look Mom, no hands!
Attaches securely to any pot, allows cook to free up hand from having to balance strainer and pot. Wonderful invention! Strains while holding food in place to not lose half of it down the drain or in the sink! Easy to store and wash. Would recommend!

Great gadget that gets used often.
A bit tricky getting the knack of first installation when the pot edge has a pronounced outer curve, but easy from then on.It really works and cleans up with ease. Great product.

Does not fit any pans
Completely useless, does not fit any of our standard pans. Clips do not open enough to get it on a pan. You have to wrestle it to even try and fit it. Certainly would not try if the pan had boiling water in it. Stick to a colander if you want to avoid burns and sumo wrestling.

No esta mal
Es buen producto, cumple su función, estaría mejor si los clips que sujetan a la olla abrieran un poco mas
