Painting Palette & Knife Set 5 PC Assorted for Acrylic, Watercolor

I use these for gouache (a waterbase paint) and nothing works better, but I wanted little knives for the square palettes where I could scrape down the paints at the end of the day and get them together, then cover over tightly for use the next day. These are the first knives I've seen for use with gouache, and I really appreciate it. I love the round palettes because it's so easy to scrape those down also, drop some water in, then cover with foil, and the next day--VOILA--the perfect consistency or close to it. I especially like the little round palette set because there are times when one is using only a minute amount of a color, and these hold that amount beautifully,also helping you to not overmix. I cover all my paints with foil when I'm done; one reason is to keep the cats from getting hairs in them, but also because it help retain the moisture. When I'm completely finished with a paint, I can let it dry out, and it practically slips out of the round palettes. I like these a great deal and recommend them to anyone who uses a lot of small amounts of color in their paintings, but doesn't want to be saddled with large palettes of those colors. These are great for avoiding that. I recommend them highly. P.S. TO wash out plastic palettes, first try cold water instead of hot to keep colors like Viridian Green becoming a permanent part of the palette scenery.

I'm not a professional artist, so I wouldn't be able to tell you if this is "professional grade". It works great for what I wanted it for though. Plenty of different options for ease of use.
