Libbey Robusta Glass Mugs, Set of 12

Wonderful quality very thick and sturdy

I was looking for something made of glass that could be used for coffee, and this is it! They are easy to clean - just throw in dishwasher. The glass is thick and retains the heat for about 15 minutes, and it is very high quality. Also, I think the design is classic and brings a little beauty to the everyday.

The glass on these mugs is nice and thick. My glass mugs did not have sharp edges (previously noted). The handle opening is large and accommodates bigger hands. I am very pleased with these glass mugs. I would order them again. Additionally, we have run these through the dishwasher, heating liquids in the cup to boiling (from room temperature), and used/abused them for 2 months. They are holding up well.

Reasonable in price. Cleans well by hand or dishwasher. Works well for either very hot or cold liquids. Good for laser engraving too.

Yes they aren't supposed to work in the microwave, haven't that checked yet but no worries as I get my coffee from a Keurig and it never gets that hot. Yes they are currently made in Mexico and do not have the L on the bottom of the cup. I called and checked with Libby and was told they were the real deal and they would be adding the L back to the bottom in the future (I guess they have been asked this before). They are nice and sturdy, have a good solid weight to them without being too heavy and look amazing when you are pouring the creamer in. They make for a very enjoyable cup of coffee in the morning. I wanted a decent coffee cup that was lead free and these are perfect. A+

Libbey Robusta Glass Mugs are the closest I found on Amazon to French glass mugs. They have a greater capacity (13 oz instead of 8-10) and are sturdy and attractive. The handle is large enough to hold the cup comfortably. There is a nearly invisible seam on the body of the glass, and a more raised seam on the handle (in the photo, they are circled in red) but feels fine. I'm very happy with the purchase!

These are just what I was looking for. Some tea cups are too small, mugs are too big. These cups can accommodate just the perfect amount of liquid for both coffee or tea beautifully. They are heavy, feel very sturdy on the hand. Poured some boiling water into them and had no issues yet. I did run them under wam water first, because I was a bit apprehensive, but so far so good. Best price for the money too, trust me I did my homework.
