Wilton Vintage Ivy Pocket Invitation Kit

I really love this kit!! I was worried about buying it online and printing it myself, but it turned it perfect! The test sheets are so helpful. You get a few but I only needed to print 1 test sheet for each card. The card is nice and thick, and the gold border looks elegant. I used the large card for an itinerary, the medium card for reception details and the small card for RSVP.Our colors are blue and brown so we printed in blue ink and it looks so great! I used the Word templates from the Wilton website ([...]) which was so simple and easy. I would've been lost without the templates so I'm very happy I found them. I thought the printing would take all day but it really only took about half an hour.Assembling and stuffing the invitations took a bit of time, but I enjoyed the process. You get 2 packs of double sided tape. You will use one piece to attach the invitation to the inside of the pocket, and one to attach the ribbon and bow to the outside of the pocket. It really was easy and I can't say enough how perfect it looks. The tape is pre-cut to fit perfectly behind the bow so you can't see it. I will say a few bows were a tiny bit smaller than the rest, so the tape did show through, but I had extras so I just didn't use the smaller bows.I didn't realize it at first, but it also comes with outer envelopes for mailing. I had been searching all over paper stores for an outer envelope, but couldn't find one to fit. The pocket is 5x7 but it's too snug for that size envelope. The next size up is too big and looks funny, so I'm thrilled that the kit comes with the perfect size outer envelopes, located at the very bottom of the kit.It cost .85 to send it within the U.S. and $2.12 to send it to England. I highly recommend this kit, and I bought the Wilton print at home programs too. I am so happy with our invitations, and I'm glad my genius fiancé had the idea to get this kit and save us lots of money! I can't wait for our guests to receive them!

I was very happy with the quality of these invitations. The brown pocket (inner envelope), and the invitations themselves were very nice, heavy duty paper.The ONLY reason that I am giving this product 3 stars is because printing them is horrible! First, do NOT use the online Wilton program- only 12 crappy fonts and really no formatting options. Also, they didn't even print right on the practice sheet. So, I ended up designing my own in MS Word, but you have to be a little computer savvy and have a decent printer to do this. The invitation is 5x7, so the only way my HP printer would recognize it is to print it through the photo tray. The other cards (RSVP, directions, etc), are all odd sizes, so you have to make custom pages, and then custom settings on the printer, and then trying to get them to line up is very tricky. Basically, have some patience, because this is not something you can just whip out in one afternoon lol.In the end, if you are trying to save money on invitations, this actually probably isn't the way to do it. 2 sets of invitations (50), is $65, then factor in at least one ink cartridge ($20 for mine), and any other DIY things you want to add to it (better quality ribbon, etc), it could come close to costing $100, and for the headache of printing them, I would much rather have gone on Etsy or Costco and just had them made.

These invitations are attractive and I loved all the parts that came with it. My problem was that I have an HP officejet pro 8500 and it is NOT compatable with the printing settings. It worked for the announcement (largest one) with 5x7 setting, but not the others (smaller ones). However, I was able to get it to work by placing hand in paper tray to press paper the against right side of the tray in order to keep it to right and guide it as it printed. So all-in-all, it was fine, but caused frustration as I had it all ready to go and couldn't print. I panicked but luckily came to a solution. Otherwise easy to use. I added graduation hat and tassel embellishments, a picture in the inside and changed the purpose of the papers. I chose this set because it's kinda gold for honors and added red cap for school colors.For graduation:1.Announcment--I used a cute poem2.Commencement info3.Celebration/party info4.A special request--personal message but this piece could be used for directions or RSVP.I also added school mascot and designs lightly in backround of writing. looked great!

they looked really nice, easy to assemble, eventhough I didn't like the part where you print it, because I was searching for a heavier paper, therefore, I bought this part on apart, and use the rest of the invitation, very nice results!I add an external bigger envelope, roped with "rope King ST-300 Sisal Twine 300 feet" and it looked wonderful for a rustic wedding in a farm. I recommend this product if you don't want to spent a whole lot of money in paper for a wedding.PS. you should be crafty for ordering this. If you consider yourself not crafty, just don't order it.

These invitations are beautiful. I had so many complements. I changed out the yellow (it is yellow not ivory) ribbons and purchased some sheer blue ribbon to represent my beach wedding adding a sea star accent. The cards are good quality, versatile and well sized.They do not look any different from the higher priced printed invitations I have received. The Wilton template is easy to follow but I preferred to download the template into MS Word and used it that way. I will note, if you are not a little computer savvy you may have a problem. Some of the paper sizes needed to be added into my printer (a commercial grade printer) which was a quick adjustment.Overall, this is an excellent choice for someone who wants to add a personal touch to their invitations!

Pretty good invitation kit! I recommended using their word template so you can save it. It's a bit hard navigating through their online template system to look for the right template. There's a bit of a lack of documentation on how to use the kit, however. You kind of have to figure it out yourself, which is a bummer. Solid design, though!
