This works fine as long as I have the antenna on top of the unit pointed directly at the tire itself just below the edge of the rim where the valve stem is located. SEE PICTURE. I tried the other positions shown in the directions and those did not work. So I kept trying various positions until I found the one that worked as shown above. Once I used that position the reset took like a minute. I bought this to reset the sensors because the repair shops never reset them when I have the tires rotated every 7-8,000 miles. By the way, by rotating my tires per the owners handbook that came with my car I got 77,000 miles on original set of tires and have over 25,000 miles on current tires with very little wear showing. On my last car, a Jeep Grand Cherokee, I got 95,000 miles on original tires by rotating and balancing (if needed) every 8,000 miles. I always use Goodyear tires and the Goodyear dealers rotate and rebalance (if needed) for free for the life of the tires.

UPDATE: Disregard my previous review. Clearly I had not read the instructions correctly. It is important for those using this item to note that you must place the device's antenna directly on the rubber tire next to as as close as possible to the valve stem, and not on the valve stem itself. Received product quickly and on time. I purchased this for my 2020 GMC 3500HD Denali so I could add and configure my 3-axle (6 tires) RV 5th wheel. I am totally impressed how easily it activated each of the trailer's tire sensors. Now I can see not only each tire's air pressure, but also the temperatures of each tire. Awesome product. Highly recommend for similarly compatible GM vehicles.

Easy to use. Worked the first time I tried it. Dealership had rotated my tires without resetting the tpms. They are a 40 minute drive. Money well spent

To reset the tire sensors….doesnt works tried 2 beand new batterys ..only thing that worked was the pretty green light i have a 2017 silerado …either buy a better model or take it to a shop this produce didnt work for me I tried for better than and hour looked on youtube and followed direction ti the letter ….waist of money

Nach dem Wechsel von Winterreifen auf Sommerreifen beim Opel Mokka (Bj 2016), leuchtete laufend die Reifendruckkontrolleuchte und ich hatte die Meldung „Reifenkontrollsystem prüfen lassen“. Also gegoogelt und siehe da, man muss die Reifen für das System neu Kalibrieren… Dafür braucht man das Teil und es funktioniert. Die Fehlermeldung ist endlich weg. Dafür muss man die Zündung anmachen, die „Menü“ Taste am linken Hebel drücken und mit dem Set-Rad (auch am linken Hebel) so lang drehen, bis man auf der Anzeige das Fahrzeug von oben sieht (mit den Strichen an jedem Reifen). Dann den Knopf am äußersten Ende des linken Hebels gedrückt halten bis man gefragt wird ob man das Reifensystem Kalibrieren will. Dort wieder über das Drehrad „Ja“ markieren und den Knopf einmal drücken. Dann hupt das Auto 2 mal. Jetzt das Gerät (Es wird eine 9 Volt Blockbatterie dafür benötigt die nicht beiliegt), angefangen von vorne Links (In Fahrtrichtung gesehen) mit dem schwarzen Bommel leicht am Gummireifen anlegen (Genau an der Stelle des Reifens, wo das Ventil sitzt) und den Knopf gedrückt halten bis das Auto einmal hupt. Das ganze wiederholt man nun in der Reihenfolge vorne Rechts, hinten Rechts und hinten Links. Also angefangen von vorne Links im Kreis um das Auto. Nachdem man mit hinten Links abgeschlossen hat, hupt das Auto zur Bestätigung noch 2x und der Vorgang ist beendet. 🤗 Die Fehlermeldung ist weg und es wird wieder der Druck statt den Strichen angezeigt.
