Bamboo Skateboards Hard Good Blank Short Board, 8, Natural

Bought the board with some hesitation. Came to find out how fantastic of a board can be when made of baboo wood. I'm not an advanced skater so my 2-5ft flat-land drops don't always end up with my feet on bolts - ie. I beat the hell out of my boards. The boards taken all of it. Doesn't chip easily as well. The bamboo only seems to be the outer plies FYI. It is not solid bamboo. Also, one end seems to be slightly smaller than the other. Doesn't bother since I always have one end be my tail end anyway.

Great deck for just getting around. No complaints on it but it was shipped in to small of a box for it so when it arrived and the box was damaged.

Really like the board, I do kinda wish it didn't have the size burned into the top of the board...it would be so much prettier with just the natural beauty of the bamboo, which I want to show off on top (clear grip tape) and on bottom.

I have tried bamboo before and love it so I got 2 of these. there are six plys. top and bottom are bamboo, core plys are maple. It does not have the heat stamped logo as in the product description so it is knock off, however it's still decent. It cracked at the bolts as soon as I took it to a 6 stair but I skated it for another two weeks. It also cracked in the middle trying kickflip boardslide, but refused to snap. I'm still riding the second one. decks usually last me about a month which it did. these are worth it, but I was a bit dissapointed since my first bamboo deck lasted twice as long. Bamboo is great. strong light and pop for days, but it chips and razor tails easier. I would highly recommend trying bamboo if you haven't.

The pop on these things is insane. I was waiting to review until I finished skating my first one, still some life in it but I just want a fresh one cause at 30 bucks I can do that when this one lasted me over a month. Legit totally legit some people don't pop their tricks but I always try to pop them as hard as I can and these decks take it to a new level, weight is good and durability is good all and all five stars!

What can I say about bamboo skateboards that hasn't already been said. The durable, flexible, and make the best decks. I most free hand paint artwork on them, but when abide skateboards ask me what type of board is it, they're happy to hear it when I say, "it's a bamboo skateboard".

The board is nice and light with good pop but the bamboo wares away fast so the pop won't last even though the board will due to the strength of the bamboo.

Very good packaging, nice quality. Felt just like any other maple board.
