Fotodiox Pro Lens mount with aperture iris
This is a wonderful product for attaching your AF Digital Canon Lenses to a micro four thirds system. The build quality is excellent and the aperture ring is very fluid, with more than enough blades. The one draw back is that the ring is labeled 1-7, with the iris closing well beyond the 7 point. It would be nice if it told you what aperture you were shooting at, but for experienced shooters, it's really not that much of a problem and is very easy to approximate. I would recommend this to anyone who was looking to attach their digital Canon lenses to their micro four thirds system, it has served me very well.

Great Adapter for the Price (EF Lenses on a BlackMagic Pocket Cinema)
The media could not be loaded. The Fotodiox adapter is necessary for me (I shoot with EF lenses on a BlackMagic Pocket Cinema). My concern was from some of the reviews indicating that the it is difficult to remove from the camera, but I haven't found this to be true at all. This is the perfect alternative to the much more expensive metabones speedbooster adapter. You can see some of the video work using the Fotodiox adapter at [...].The important thing to understand though is why this adapter costs hundreds of dollars less than the Metabones Speedbooster. This adapter will not allow for the electrical signals from the camera to the lens that allow auto focus, camera-controlled f-stop and image stabilization. With this adapter, everything is manual. Also, it adds to the crop factor so your 50mm will be something more like a 75mm.The only time I've had a problem with this was when I tried using the 11-16mm Tokina lens. I couldn't achieve any focus at all.

Works well
The adapter works as advertised. I've used it with various Canon EF lenses and the results are good. Best results with the 50mm 1.8. The only problem is that often the lenses weigh more than my Olympus OMD, defeating the purpose of having such a brilliant, easy to carry, heavily-specced camera. If you want the best manual focusing get into focus peaking on the OMD, available by using one of the Art Filters plus Raw.

Suppose it works sort of but not great
Doesn't really work as you'd expect. The aperture helps control the light through to the camera but because it isn't in the same aperture plane as the real diaphragm you don't get the same depth of field effect from the lens. Maybe I was missing something but I didn't feel it was working the way I wanted. When mounted I found the iris control very fiddly to reach, particularly on the OMD body I tried it with which is pretty small and compact space to get fingers into.I guess if you really want to use high end Canon lenses on a micro 4/3 and not have to shoot wide open then this is a passable alternative. I'd suggest instead you get some good manual focus glass like a Contax T* lens and an adapter then you'll have great optics and full aperture control.

Buy this if you can't afford a Metabones speedbooster!!
This is a great product. I would love the Metabones but can't afford it right now. Unlike other versions of this which I quickly returned, this fits snug to my BMPCC. The fact it has an Aperture control is also awesome.. and a given must. Some others don't have this feature leaving you with having to carry a second camera around just to set the aperture.NOTE: Just make sure to open your aperture up on the lens when you store them. Making that a habit, will give you piece of mind when pulling it to use on a camera with this adapter.

Will not work with BMPCC
I purchased this adapter for use on the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera. My EF lens would mount fine on the adapter but the adapter will not fit on the BMPCC MFT mount. It would only turn about a 1/4' before stopping and would require MAJOR FORCE to get it to lock into place.I sent it back and was very happy with Amazon's quick response and credit!

DOES WORK w/BLACKMAGIC POCKET CINEMA CAMERA!!!
I was reluctant to make the purchase after reading a review that said it wouldn't attach to the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera, but I couldn't find another MFT EOS Adaptor in this price range, with good reviews... I did purchase after much debate. I just opened it and it connected perfectly to the BMPCC, no tension whatsoever. It works with all of my EOS lens' and has a great build. If it doesn't attach to your BMPCC, you might want to contact Blackmagic about a defective lens mount. There is a strong durable feeling when holding it, the Aperture Ring (Blue Band), is very fluid. I look forward to using this on many shoots. So far so good :D

2nd Time, Recommend!
Clean design, works. Will buy a second one I like it so much.Bought a competitor at half price but had to send back bc it would not click into the camera body. Bought this one and it works flawlessly. Thanks!

Super verarbeitet, begrenzt sinnvoll
Wer also EF-Objektive an Lumix-Kameras tatsächlich abblenden will, braucht wohl doch einen der teuren elektronischen Adapter. Oder man bastelt sich Lochblenden vor das Objektiv - immer noch besser als dahinter.

Alta calidad
El iris es bastante fluido y de muy buena calidad así como las monturas. Tiene un buen peso y se siente resistente.

Adapter for Tamron 90mm 2,8 Macro with Panasonic GX8
Have a new Tamron 90mm 2,8 for canon. On my Panasonic GX8 with my Kiponadapter doesn’t work as with my canon lenses. As a macro lens I need to stop down for more depth of field. With this adapter I can change aperture from full open to very smal. GX8 can’t read the fstop and the 2 smalest ones have a strong black vinjette. But I have 7 fstops that works. Choosed this solution as I really wanted Tamron’s macro lens. Has to work manually but does that anyway when I’m shooting macro. Satisfyied enough.
