Great Product!
I bought this microwave when my other microwave quit working about a month ago. This microwave does it's job very well. The turbo defrost is fast and efficient. The sensory reheat and sensory cook reheat or cook the food thoroughly. There is no need to heat or cook again. I wanted this microwave because of this feature and the turbo defrost. If you cook normally, it does a great job as well. The only feature I haven't figured out is the level of power. I can change it but do not know how to incorporate it in the cooking. Once I change it to a lower number (recommended for defrost) and hit defrost, it does not stay at the number I selected. The manual does not tell me how to fix this. I would like to know how this feature is supposed to work so I can use it. Overall, this microwave is an excellent one and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a new microwave.

Big Improvement in Intermediate Countertop Microwaves
This is a review for the Panasonic Microwave NN-SN651B, written in December, 2017. This is an intermediate-size countertop microwave, with inverter technology. Please note that Amazon sometimes shows reviews of older models with the reviews for current models. Check the date of any microwave oven reviews you read to get only reviews of similar products. We are very pleased with this model. We like Panasonic because of the inverter technology: When you set the power level, the actual power level changes, rather than the power going on and off. This helps avoid spills and overcooking. There were negative reviews about previous models of this size and type: noisy motors, venting problems, hard-to-open doors, and lights not going on when the door opened. All of those problems have been resolved. The power has been increased from 900W in our previous model to 1200W, so everything cooks faster. Our previous model rotated the microwaves, rather than the food (which increases the useable interior space), whereas this model rotates the food. However, the interior space in this model is well designed to fit relatively large dishes. The result is a faster and better microwave oven, for a very reasonable price. If you do not have room for a large countertop microwave, we highly recommend this model.

So far so Good!
*************Update************ so I bought this microwave in 2018 and it's April of 2024 and it's still kicking and working just as when bought. I have no complaints except maybe the usual popcorn button is useless like in most microwaves. I don't use the reheat button and the defrosting settings are just bad as it basically cooks the frozen meat. I only use it to heat food and I also use one of those covers that helps prevent the food from drying and keep moisture in the food. I love it still and use it daily. very very skeptical and nervous when searching and choosing a microwave due to the horrendous decline in manufacturing quality and materials being used. Many sites have alarmingly stated how bad and how often these new microwaves fail within months or the first two years.A very different way when microwaves used to last decades. But i used to have a general electric white microwave which the top and back paint was peeling plus it was oldish and did leave cold and frozen spots often when heating up. so when looking at microwave reviews this was the only one that fit the bill with the size and it has an internal light that turns on when you open the door and also while in use which many others that were highly rated didnt have (kind of a standard thing that every microwave oven should have). I will also state that in many reviews its recommended to get a warranty when buying a microwave also because they fail alot. In any case i have had this model for about 3-4 months and so far the heating works great. I will say if your trying to heat food from the fridge its best to use the sensor reheat mode because other wise the one minute will still have cold food and even the two minute reheat. The sensor reheat works very well even in the low setting but may be a bit overboard but rather have hott food then warm and cold food. Outside of the the defrost option works better then my last microwave but still bad i mean i hate when the meat starts to cook instead of just defrosting so i wouldnt use this feature unless you really had to and no longer than 3-5 minutes tops, a con of this microwave for me is that the touchpad has a plastic cover that gets damaged very easily and does look ugly mine already is messed up and wished they had made it better but buttons still work fine just is a sore sight. another downside for me is that the door is made out of cheaper plastic and wished it was made of a better material but still just being picky. Overall this unit for me has worked great and i did go ahead and bought a 4 year warranty to be safe. If you need a microwave this is a good one to get however please be aware that this whole new fad about microwaves causing cancer or degrading food or damaging your dna is pure bull crap the facts are that microwaves actually doesnt damage nutrients like heating on the stove does and microwaves in truth are way to weak to cause cancer or even damage your dna. The only thing that microwaves can do to harm you is disrupt your wifi but for me this hasnt been the case with this model and my kitchen isnt near my router.

Wonderful Microwave
I purchased this microwave in 2016, seven years ago, and never had a problem with it. If you want a microwave that is built to last and is feature-rich, then this is a must-have. Today is October 1, 2023, and the microwave is still going and going. When it finally dies, I will quickly buy another one. I am wondering if I should go ahead and buy another one to have on the shelf. The most important feature that sets this microwave apart from the rest is the Inverter Technology. I purchased the 4-year Assurance warranty because I was a GE and Amana guy, but this microwave converted me to a Panasonic guy. This microwave outlived the warranty, therefore, I lost money purchasing the warranty. I love items that outlive their warranty. We use this microwave three to five times a day on average. I have a lot of kids. You do the math. I just finished cooking in the microwave this morning.

Very nice Microwave but make sure it's suitable for your country. I bought this for the UK but sadly had to return it due to the US voltage it uses.
