Cable chain. What's to say? It's well made, the links do not open so you have to route cables through, not lay them in, but that's what you get at this price.It is small in cross section obviously. Not the smallest though. When using, be sure to tie down the cables at both ends and lay them flat not twisted and with no overlap, that increases cable life. Of course it obviously decreases how many cables you can fit in the cable chain.You can remove links to fit length, of course. The end links can be flipped around to mount to the other side. If you do this though it won't pivot quite the same. My personal advice if you have to flip one around is the same as normal, support the first 3-4 links at both ends anyway if you can, instead of just supporting the end link, it helps with longer runs and heavier cables. You will get droop over longer runs, expect that. And on up sides to horizontal runs there is a bow, though over time and with cable weight it goes away.Minimum inner bend radius for me was about 19mm, which isn't in the product information for this specific cable chain, but is very important to know. I would go on the safe side and design to 20mm radius, in case of manufacturing variability.Given cable chain for industrial usage can be pricey, this gives a near equivalent (for some applications) at a good price. It is worth the cost.

If you need to run any type of cabling or tubing in a moving machine this is the way to go. There are many more expensive and probably a little better brands out there. But for the price you can't beat these. Easy to use and have held up very well and I have every expectation that they will last for a long time. I will advise to avoid the open on one side, these are designed with tabs that open allowing to lay the cabling into the carrier. These plastic tabs break very easily. So be sure you can pull the wire or tubing thru the carrier and then go with this style, Open On Both Sides.

This product was exactly what I was looking for and works very well. The reason I am only giving this product 3 stars is because I ordered 2 identical sizes of these wire carriers, but when I opened the box they were shipped in one of them was in factory packaging and the other was in a plastic bag sealed with scotch tape and missing 11 links and an end piece.

This product was even better than expected, super durable and a great construction. It replaced an OEM part that had failed on a CNC machine. The only complaint i have was the shipping, no tracking number, no info, it just randomly finally appeared.Highly recommend this product.

quick shipping and product was as is described. I have a 2006 Dodge Caravan and my son ordered this for me. It's a little too wide but he made it work. That was his mistake on ordering. But it works fine!

Ordered this for CNC machine that I have been building. Works just great. 3D printed some mounts to attach the drag chain to the CNC machine, very easy to use.

Bought for my X-Carve, works great, just be careful when separating links as I didn't manage to break a couple in the process... But I bought plenty so not a big deal!

Does *NOT* open from the top and/or bottom. This makes it IMPOSSIBLE to insert cables with annoying fat ends, like a socket cable etc. Small cables that can fit through the end holes are fine.
