Motorcraft - Use Fp71A When Out (FP71)

I have been taking my car to dealership for oil changes for 3 years, it wasn't until I realized that airflow coming from the vents was very slow that I found out this filter existed (I thought only imports and luxury brands had cabin air filters). Can't believe they didn't try to still me one of these in all that time. This fits my 2013 Ford Fusion Hybrid perfectly. Used YouTube for guidance, no issues swapping it out. Once swapped out, airflow back to normal (even a bit noisier). I will be doing this at least yearly from now on. Mileage isn't really a good indicator of when to change, my car has only 28,000, mostly city driving, with dirt roads a couple times a year when we go camping. If you have an airflow or odor problem, order one and swap it out. It does take about 20-30 minutes for the process, so even if it's not really dirty, it's better to just save the effort and change it a little early than to take it apart just to look at it. Hope this helps. Added a picture of the dirty one - hard to believe even leaves got in there somehow. Update: I noticed a noise coming from the fan, some chunks of dirt/dust fibers fell into the blower motor when I removed the dirty filter. After opening it and removing the new filter I was able to use some duct tape to lift out what fell through and put it all back together.

This is the filter the book for my 2019 edge lists as the replacement. Received it & installed it in less than 10 minutes. Exact match for the original that was way past due for replacement. Cheaper on Amazon than the dealer & the big parts stores. No complaints, works as expected.

Exact oem replacement filter for the cabin of my 2018 Ford fusion hybrid. The filter doesn't come with installation instructions and it's a darn pain because you have to remove the entire glove box for install. Check youtube videos for instructions.

A perfect fit for my 2014 Ford Fusion SE (1.5L). Don’t let the “amazon vehicle filter” scare you. It said it didn’t fit my vehicle but if you refer to your vehicle’s manual it will tell you the exact filter you need to buy. I went with this one because it’s the OEM. It’s slight pain to install but worth doing it yourself. Plenty of great YouTube videos to help. My picture was from my local ford dealer who decided to charge me $45 and cram in the filter. Oh yea did I also mention they failed to reinstall 3 screws back into my glove box... Sometimes it’s better to do it yourself. You know it’s done right and you get to learn and be comfortable working on your vehicle. This filter had 20K miles on it before I replaced it.

I think the dealership wanted around 45 bucks to replace this. Obviously going with this Amazon purchase saved me quite a bit of cash. This gem fit my 2016 Ford Fusion perfectly! It wasn't fun tearing apart the glove compartment area but still was worth the savings. Item was clean, smells clean and quite a savings. I just hope this remains in stock in the future. I definitely want to go this route in the future! FYI: youtube videos are great for finding out how to install this.

perfect fit for my 2020 Ford Fusion, kinda a pain to install , search You tube on how to remove your glove box . helped me a lot . Google " replace cabin air ford fusion" most all the the slightly older models are exactly the same in replacing the filter Really helped my air conditioning work better . I recommend changing these once a year as these do get clogged up over the coarse of a year

La caja venía destruida , pedí un empaquetado extra al que ya trae para protegerlo de daños y no me lo mandaron . El filtro es muy delicado y tiende a arrugarse si no se cuida en el transporte. Les recomiendo que si tienen sospechas abran el paquete frente al repartidor para que lo regresen en el momento. En mi caso el filtro pudo rescatarse y ya lo instalé, todo bien con motorcraft pero el empaquetado de amazon muy muy mal.
