This fit my 2006 Corvette C6 convertible trunk perfectly. 2 min install and has the right amount of resistance. When I press the trunk open button, it lifts the lid just over the latch and I can open it with one hand without pressing the open button again. Great buy. I hope they hold up.

Installed on a 2007 Vette Convert. These are super easy to install. The pair I received are super strong. So strong, they would force the trunk open intermittently without any warning :( This is not a daily driver anymore, so I just kept a close eye on it and let it sit in the garage when unattended. After about a month the problem went away on its own. I was worried they had sent me the wrong item at first, but all appears to be normal now. This is the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5.
