Hamptons Tote Tote

LOVE this tote! I searched for months for a cute laptop bag that was professional enough for me to bring to the office and/or interviews but still had the right amount of quirkiness to it. The material is great, strong and durable. The inside polkadots give it a touch of uniqueness. I wanted a bag that would allow me to carry my 15" macbook pro plus work stuff and it easily does that. I was concerned about the review that said the computer would stick out but what it doesn't say is that there is another couple inches before the zipper so my laptop fits easily in the bag (the padding is about an inch short inside but it is fine). The large pocket on the back is perfect for easy access to my wallet, keys, pens, etc. There are also small pockets on the sides that are too small for most things but I sometimes put change or the like in them. The color is just beautiful! I get constant comments on this bag. Using it every day for almost three years and there is barley any wear and tear - it looks practically new. I will defiantly purchase this again when it is time for a replacement.

LOVE THESE. I've had my last one for over 5 years. The only thing is the buttons can be pulled off and are hard to put back on. I lost one so I had to get a new bag. Otherwise no other problems. Holds laptop, snacks, bottles of water. Lots of compliments. I love these bags!

I already had a green one and liked it so much that I purchased a second in grey, my favorite color. These bags are sturdy, hold a lot, and attractive as I've received compliments from strangers. Thanks, Ogio!

NOTE: this is a review for the LARGE bag, there are two different sizesI got this because it looked so cute and seemed to have great potential in terms of functionality. It arrived and was much larger than I thought -- about the size of a regular backpack, just a different shape. I immediately tested its capacity and found it could hold everything -- date book, kindle, a couple 3 subject notebooks, my LARGE (17"?) laptop, my wristlet, and so much more! I own an Ogio regular backpack and it seems this brand is very high quality with great attention to details and practical use.What I Love* Color: the green is just like it looks on my screen, a dark kelly green -- not pine green. fabric is similar to a backpack* Style: Very stylish with the buttons on the one side and the sash around the top. Not a huge fan of the dots on the handle, but its nice to have a lighter interior in the bag itself* Padding: VERY WELL padded all around, I have no worries about my PC in here (it DOES fit securely inside the bag, all the way, and I can close the tab so its secure in its pocket)! Smaller pockets on the sides are lined in a felt-like material which is nice.* Sections: Lots and lots of places to put things, and they're labeled in case you're not quite sure what to do with it. Also a realistic number and size of holders for writing utensils (5 or 6!!)* Outer Zipped Pocket: hold tablets, money, pens, etc. I LIKE that its on "back side" of the bag, no worries about being pick-pocketed like I would with a backpack* Sturdiness: I'm tough on bags and I think this one is up for the test! All of the edges are well-finished and the seams are well-doneWhat I Wish Were Better* The straps are a bit short for me...I do have larger arms, so I realize that's a factor. Its okay now during the warmer months but I may need a new plan come winter (bulky coat)...I may take the sash from around the top and use some of that material to extend the handles* Side pockets do NOT fit larger smartphones. I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 and it fit for the width well enough but it sticks out about 1/2 way. Not secure...and if it were to rain, it would definitely get wet (I love the waterproof phone pocket feature in my Ogio backpack, wish they did this on all bags!)* Definitely holds all I need for work and grad school, but it gets HEAVY! My laptop is fairly heavy, but because of the weight distribution in my backpack I don't feel it. You will definitely feel it in this bag. I guess that's my justification to get my new, lighter weight laptop! :-)* When its full pops off my arm, but again if its that full I probably am carrying more than I need to and should lighten my load.The good definitely outweighs the not so good on this one, so I'm keeping it. Style wins this round, but practicality may take over once winter comes and I need to be comfortable and able to balance easily.

Cute bag, but not practical. The little pockets on the sides don't hold much more than earphones. I like the look of the bag, but the straps could be a couple of inches longer. The straps do not fit over winter coats, but is okay for summer. Overall it is good for the occasional tote bag, but I stopped using it for daily work commutes and found something easier to carry.

I bought this as my new back-to-school bag in the cobalt color -- and absolutely love it! I waited to use it for a few weeks before I wrote a review on it, and am really pleased with it.It's wide enough that you can place papers in it lengthwise (if you need to put file folders in it), but if you do, there won't be quite as much room on the sides. I still keep my papers/work in lengthwise, and my water bottle still fits in front of them. The large inner pocket can also fit your laptop, although I haven't been using it for that.The back panel has enough space to hold an iPad and small school supplies. It also has five pen holders. It expands enough so that I can also keep three whiteboard markers in it, a small stapler, Post-It notes, and some other small supplies.The pockets on the side are a bit too small for me to use, but it's nice to have them if you need extra space.It's also pretty lightweight on its own, which I appreciate since I hate to have a bag that is heavier than it needs to be. The strap also stays on your shoulder nicely, and doesn't fall off while you're walking.If you want a better look at this bag, the OGIO website has a short video that shows this bag's features in more detail, in case you want better views of it.

I have had this bag in the light gray felt for two years and it was the best purchase I've made in a long time. I am a nurse and I have beat this bag up, but you would never know it. I receive compliments on it regularly, and I recommend it highly. There are multiple compartments for organizing including pen holders and multiple zipper areas. I fit my 17 inch laptop, the charger, a notebook and planner, stethoscope, BP cuff, and small make up bag all in just the main section of the bag. The back zippered compartment holds my pens, highlighters, pen lights, keys, post it notes, and wallet. There are also 3 side compartments that hold my USB drives, chapstick, and tissues. If you're looking for cute and highly durable this is your bag.
