love these pens + versatility
These pens are extremely versatile. The three color way makes it the all-around pen without having to bring three pens at once. Ink Thickness: The 0.5mm is the best thickness in my opinion (I normally like fine point pens for better precision for note taking). My ideal pen thickness is 0.4mm because 0.38mm is too thin. When the pen is super thin, it is highly susceptible to skipping and you have to write slowly to ensure the ink transfers onto the paper. Ink: Uni Jetstream is a ballpoint pen, not a gel ink pen. As a result, the pens are obviously not as “inky” or bold as gel pens usually are. However, ballpoint pens have their advantage in that the ink last much longer and typically dries a lot faster (especially for left-handed writers). Ergonomic: The “Slim” version of Uni Jetstream 3 has a thinner body than the regular Jetstream 3. However, the Slim version does not have grip and it does start to hurt your hand after writing for a while. The pen is very lightweight and does not have a heavy “body”. You definitely have to put more pressure on the pen to hold it still. If you need a sturdy and weight-forward pen, the Pilot Center of Gravity pens are amazing for ergonomic usage. Grip: There is no grip on the pen. If you’re using the pen for long note-taking sessions, your hand will definitely hurt after a while. Quality: The body of the pens are made of plastic and definitely not the most sturdy. However, for the price, the pens is a great value.

Nice slim multi with additional ink options
This has become my favorite pocketable drawing pen (with one change). First off: the Uni Jetstream ballpoints are really nice. Once the ink starts flowing, they really glide over the paper. For drawing, ballpoints are nice because you can vary line thickness with pressure. They exhibit very little globbing like cheaper ballpoints. The black is fairly dark and bold without too much of the ballpoint sheen. The blue I found to be too dark. But! Turns out these are compatible with Zebra Sarasa multi-pen refills with a quick trim off the end. I replaced the blue ink on mine with a 0.5 Zebra Sarasa, and now I have a black gel pen for darker, bolder lines, and black and red in Jetstream ballpoint for lighter lines or in everyday use when smearing might be an issue (my personal checks don't like gel inks). The form factor is just perfect. It doesn't look like a multi pen, really. There is almost no rattle, there's no real balance issue and the grip is comfortable. The clip is stiff, without a hinge like many pens nowadays, so that's worth noting. It won't clip over your jeans pocket, for instance. It would be hard to go wrong with this one if you like multis or Jetstream ink.

Don’t last very long.
I love it, but for this much money, it should last longer. However, I appreciate that it is fine point and doesn’t smear.

Wonderful Writing Tool
Darrin mulligan Irish Heidi wif. Scotland I have REALLY ENJOYED writing with this pen. It is an attractive writing tool with a smooth flow, that offers the ease of uninteruptive transition of color choices. I like the unique design designating the ink color choice. It has the traditional red for red, blue for blue, but has the added dual feature of attraction and functionality of the silver for black ink that is also the clip feature. Although the barrel is attractive, it would not be the most appropriate choice for anyone with arthritic issues or in need of larger and or softer gripping options (so I scored 4/5 for ergonomic). If you want a slim, stylist, attractive, smooth-writing 0.5mm ballpoint Instrument, this is DEFINITELY an ideal choice!

Best Nurse Pen; Best Gift for your pen nerd friends
Perfect Nurse Pen. Uni Jetstream Slim Compact retractable 3-color ballpen is destined to be the best nurse pen. It is sturdy (does not break easy with constant dropping as I am clumsy). It glides smoothly and does not smear. I don't have to worry about missing parts as it is retractable. Also, as I am an old school nurse, on my Brain sheet, I write in BLACK for my chart review and baseline assessment, BLUE or RED for my current shift changes in assessment, critical results and my workload for the shift. I'm glad I found this pen on Amazon. Should make it to the best nurse gift list or Best Christmas gift for nurses list. 😁💕
