I purchased these sketchbooks after an artist friend reccomended them to me. I have to say I was not dissappointed with these. They are a pack of two lovely A5 sized sketchbooks. I love the fact they have thick kraft paper/card covers with an embossed and white inked label on the front cover. These are beautifully hand made ,hand stitched. They open flat which is great for working in them. The pages are a warm off white colour and has a slight texture and, so far can take most media. The price is great considering this is a pack of two and both have a lot of pages.They have a smart simple elegance in their look.I think these have become my new favourite go to sketchbooks.You can tell these were made by artists, for artists. I love working in them.I will definitley buy more of these in the future.They have a nice weight to them as well.There are countless sketchbooks out there, but these are a little bit special.These would make a great gift too.

I got these gor sketching and practicing my art pre completing the final picture. They are the perfect size, the paper texture is perfect for its versatility. The books are very thick. There is no bleeding and the paper is a good colour

The product itself is fine, it's just that it can only take pencil and sketches, tried it with acrylic and it would bleed over. So, if it's only take pencil and sketches, there are many other cheaper options available. But talking about the binding and quality, I would say it is average.

I like these sketch books. They take pencil, pen and paint well. This isn't watercolour paper so it does have limitations when using paint but for sketch work its absolutely fine.

Its such a simple looking and good notebook. Perfect size to carry around and take notes. Peper is excellent for writing but no watercolour

Paper does wrinkle a bit when watercolor is applied, but if you use mostly dry techniques, works well. Slightly grained, nice to touch. Lots of pages. Would buy again.

Takes inks and very light washes without bleed through.. Great purchase!!
