It is perfect if you want your ipad to be safe from your kids activity. My kid used to throw the ipad when he gets angry, some of the edges had tough time with my kids and got little dent. I am using another cover which didnt help me either. This products build quality is really good and it will give a tough fight to your kid, he can be angry and throw your ipad but this gonna make it safe. If you want premium kinda look then this is not for it

This case fits my Mini 4 like a glove, but not so much my Mini 1 (which moves around a little because it is a fraction of an inch shorter than the 4). I therefore appreciate the snugness that also isn't taut, and it doesn't require herculean effort to slip on and off like some other brands I've tried. The case is also quite kid-resistant with bumpers and all, but it doesn't look like it was exclusively made for kids. So my 4-yr-old gets to use it without me stressing like I did with my minimalist case, and I don't mind a little oppurtunity-cost clunkiness for drop resistant protection. These little machines ain't cheap, and this is why you're reading this review, right? The rubber surface is velvety and feels a little "slick", but there is still much grip and the device won't slip from your hands unless you are klutzy (but even then the bumpers will save you). This case also aligns perfectly with the buttons, which are all covered, as well as openings for the charging cable, camera lens, speakers and headphone jack. Speaking of speakers and headphone jack: The angled speaker openings really give increased and directional sound, and the L-shaped jack, no problem.

Pretty good for the price and basic protection. Does not have a screen cover, just the rubber outside.

It came in the mail and I was so excited to put it on. Problem is I'm extremely clumsy and dropped the iPad in the case right after placing it inside the case, thank god it was after I put it in. It bounced and landed liked nothing even happened the iPad was undamaged and the case was untouched. Great product!!!! Highly recommend it

I just got my iPad mini 4 and I have had a hard time finding cases for it. I got this case, but I will be returning it. It fits good, but it is too bulky for me and I don't really like the way it looks. Also, it has a pretty bad smell to the case that has lasted a couple of days, even after airing out. I'm not sure how to get rid of the smell, but since I don't like the look or thickness of the case I will be returning it anyways. I'm not sure if I just got a bad case, or if they all smell, but I wouldn't recommend this case.

As of this review (9/20/15) there are not many case option for the Mini 4. This is the only one with any decent protection there is right now. The price is right, that being said you get what you pay for. This does feel like it'll hold up well in a drop. The buttons are properly placed and still retain a high degree of "clickiness" when pressed. Cutouts are all lined up properly, however the headphone port is too small. Not many plugs will fit here. The recess is also very deep, meaning you'll have to pull on the cable to unplug it (instead of the strain relief). The bezels are also too narrow, making it hard to get to the side edges of the screen, and to the Touch ID button. The biggest issue is that if you use auto brightness, this will block both of your ambient light sensors, which have now been moved to the top corners of the device. Given the low cost and adequate protection this affords, I can absolutely recommend it for now, but you will probably want something better when there are more cases of this type to choose from.

I wasn't sure what I was going to get when I ordered this. I thought it had a screen protector (idk why I thought that - I ordered late at night), but it doesn't. It is as advertised - soft silicone that covers around the iPad mini 4. While I would've kept it under normal circumstances, having a preschooler who likes to toss his iPad on the couch, bed, the floor by accident, etc. means that I would need something that would also protect the screen. And he likes to be around water (a lot), so this would not have worked out. Maybe if I ordered this when he turns, idk, 8? The item came in promptly, and their customer service is on point, since I did receive an e-mail from them after I had received the case. Simply because of that, I bumped this up to a 5 star. Good customer service is not a dime a dozen these days.

Too rubbery and didn't fit the iPad properly. Returning immediately.
