Haiku Journal (Diary, Notebook)

I love that the journal cover is embossed. The colors are beautiful. The paper edges are gold. It looks very elegant. It is perfect for my upcoming trip to Japan. Also, it is very well made, as have been all of the Peter Pauper Press journals I have purchased over the years.

It’s a very well made hard cover with some texture and pretty gold detail on the front and back. It has faint lines inside, which is good considering I’m using it as a scrap book type book for my Japan trip to put stamps inside. It also has a ribbon book mark attached!

I did not need another journal, but this one "spoke" to me. I love the simple, elegant Asian-inspired cover, so I put it in my cart thinking I would probably end up removing it from my cart and taking a pass on this one. Instead, I ordered! I still do not "need" another journal, but once I saw the elegant understated cover, I knew I was keeping it. One can never have too many lovely blank journals!

Recently, I've been on the hunt for journals and notebooks. While I am super selective, it's been a bit trying in my search until I stumbled upon Peter Pauper Press journals - not realizing I've already owned one of their products before. The journal I had was with the pretty blue bird and red leaves - which was an absolute joy to have as the papers were up to my liking and so was the artwork and hardbound cover. Therefore, purchasing this and another of their other journals - I knew already they were no regretful purchases at all. Highly recommended!

This journal is not only affordable, but beautiful, sturdy, with texture and gilded pages edges and a ribbon to separate the pages - I love journaling and this company has become one of my favorites, so I am a returning customer.

I bought this as a gift of a writing journal for my daughter and she loved it. She loved the colors, design, and functionality. Great gift idea for the journal writers in your life.

LOVE this journal! I’ve been wanting to get back into journaling, but I’m somewhat of a ‘journal snob.’ My books have to be beautiful or I won’t be inspired to write. This journal is gorgeous, I am so excited to start writing. Highly recommend!

El cuaderno mide aproximadamente 22.5x16.5 cm, ligeramente más grande que media hoja tamaño carta. La encuadernación permite abrirlo fácilmente para que quede plano. Tiene 80 hojas de papel muy grueso y rayado de 8mm. El color de las hojas no es blanco, a mí me parece como crema pero muy claro, tampoco es totalmente liso, pero toma muy bien la escritura con plumas normales, de gel o fuente, no se transparenta para nada del otro lado. La ilustración de las pastas es muy bonita e incluso las hojas tienen bordes dorados , también tiene un separador de página dorado. Fuera de eso no tiene números u otros elementos impresos en las páginas que lo hagan parecer un diario, por lo que puede usarse para cualquier cosa, simplemente parece un cuaderno de muy buena calidad.

Absolutely gorgeous! I bought about 9-10 of these in different styles as holiday gifts. 🎁 they’re so pretty that it would be hard to actually write in it (for me personally). Haha, hope the recipients have fun with them!
