Buttery smooth Lino cuts for my awful joints
Fantastic easy cut Lino. I have joint issues and had to stop carving after my last, about a month and a half ago. Despite that one being labeled “easy cut” I decided to try these out because I was convinced there was no way in hell that was considered easy. And I’ve never been more happy to be right! Finished a cut I have a bit of a rush on in 4-5 hours today, all lettering. It cut like a hot knife through butter and I’m thrilled! The one con to the softness of the Lino is little tiny dangling bits pull and stretch and move instead of cut. For this, the most effective way to remove the straggler I’ve found is to cut straight down with my smallest blade (could easily be accomplished with an x-acto knife, but I misplaced my blades). I’ve only used this with speedball fabric block ink, so unfortunately I can’t compare how it performs with a paper friendly ink. When I printed on paper (as tests before scrap fabric) it almost seemed like the pressure from the press (aka my heel) compressed it so much that it squished out a bit and smudged. But that could’ve also been because the ink was not made for paper. When I tried it on scrap fabric, I didn’t get any of the smudge or shadow effect I was getting on the paper. So just make sure you’re using the right ink for whatever material you’re printing on! I’m eager to get into the rest of these thick, soft blocks and not injure my joints in the process! They also are pretty dang big and considering I mostly do smaller prints and designs, they’ll last me a while. The value seems pretty unbeatable, especially for something you’d pick up from an overpriced craft chain. And if you have hypermobile joints like me, worry not about your wrist, elbow, and shoulder! I can’t speak to durability yet as I’ve only used one today, but they seem alright. I wouldn’t be shocked if they wore down faster than a firmer material, though. Probably okay for a small run of prints, but if you want the block to last for a long time, you may need some less easy-to-cut lino, as it does have more density and structure.

Perfect for beginners
Started Lino cut and these are a great material and size for beginners. They’re easy to use and it’s fun to see your projects come to life. Works well and is durable to the test of time. I’ve made several stamps with this!

It's making some adorable stamps.
Our youngest has been getting into making their own stamps and found this product to be easy to cut with speed ball tools and excellent for crafting stamps. She likes the thickness, the durable nature of the product and the end result of stamps that don't have uneven surfaces. When she's done with this package we'll purchase these again.

Well I’m still using these and they seem to be working out well. Good quality and soft texture. I was surprised at how easy it was.

Good quality, but on the thin side for double use.
These are nice quality, cut and print smoothly. I only wish that they were thicker. I like to use both sides of my blocks. I'll have to use a fine carve design on the back of these. But good value, overall. Update: I also purchased the 6x8, and they are thicker than the 8x10, which is perfect! They are every bit as good as the higher cost name brand. Love them!

Easy to carve
Easy to see your image if you draw on them with pencil or carbon paper. Soft and easy to carve. They can stretch out if you run them through a tight printing press.
