These skills come so naturally that most people don’t think on them. However, many kids struggle at school with some tasks (like holding a crayon, writing, scissors skills, puzzles, use of buttons, zips and belt, using cutlery, and other academic and self-care activities) that are related to fine motor skills and then require occupational therapy for a specific amount of time to work on their development. This problem can’t be 100% prevented, but parents and family can help with the development of fine motor skills with games and tasks at home to make it a fun, learning, and developmental experience at the same time. Kids require a lot of time and teaching at home, and if we choose the correct games, toys, and tools, it’s possible to entertain them as much as possible in learning and skills developing experiences. Today’s technology access has great access to learning and entertainment, but it does not replace the development of muscles movements, muscle coordination with the brain, and other developmental needs that children demand to grow healthy and in the adequate age level. Good to add that computer mouse manipulation is a fine motor skill. DOT TO DOT Books for Kids it’s completely done to work on the development of fine motor skills. Stars with simple dot to dot puzzles, and then continue adding more challenging puzzles to ensure advance in the activity. The draws are not colored, so kids can use it as a coloring book as well. The dot to dot connection is done following numbers, first activity being from 1-10, and last one being from 1-80, numbers that kids within the ages 4-8 dominate and can keep practicing number order with the dot to dot puzzles. Also, on top of each dot to dot puzzle it’s written the name or description of the final results after completing the puzzle. Therefore, with DOT TO DOT Books for Kids is possible: • develop fine motor skills: connecting the dots and coloring the images. It also helps on coordination. • practice reading with the name and description of the images, which involves animals, musical instruments, flowers, objects, single words, sentences, and expressions, adjectives, among others. • practice number order. • practice colors while coloring. All the items mentioned here are necessary for kid’s healthy development, and they will be working on them while having fun. I worked on this book with my 5 years old nephew and he did many of the puzzles on the first day. He used pencils and crayons of different colors. He practiced the numbers and reading description on the top. We talked about the images while he was coloring them and he asked me a few questions from the animals, answers that I checked online, answer him and even show him more pictures of those animals. Arouse curiosity is important on kids, and more important is to answer their questions and needs to keep developing critical thinking and curiosity. My nephew was very grateful for receiving DOT TO DOT Books for Kids, and enjoy playing and learning with it. My sister (his mother) and me think it’s a complete book that stimulate many important skills on kids. Review: Fun Little Book - Jennifer Trace's Connect the Dot Activity book is a delight. Her illustrations are simple, pleasant, and familiar to children. I love that she progresses the levels of difficulty throughout the book and that she includes a Certificate of Completion and a sweet message at the close of the book. I appreciate that Jennifer's pictures are generic and that the book is not geared specifically toward a male or female. My two youngest children (a boy and a girl) have already begun working on various pages throughout the book and have enjoyed themselves thus far. I expect that it will be finished within a week. Overall, I am quite impressed with the book. It is evident that Jennifer put a significant amount of time and effort into its publishing. It’s perfect for a long car ride, for a rainy day, or for when your child is practicing social distancing.

Fun Activity Book - Dot to Dot
I like this dot to dot activity book for 4 to 7 year olds. The numbers are legible and large enough to see. So many dot to dot books have tiny print. This dot to dot doesn’t require parent help. According to my 5 year old granddaughter it’s a fun activity book. I highly recommend this dot to dot book for both girls and boys.

A wonderful project for kids (and adults, too).

This is a nice book but I do not feel it is worth £6.49. I think you could maybe buy one cheaper at a supermarket. Having said that my granddaughter is enjoying using it.
