Tiptree Mincemeat, 312 Gram

The mincemeat itself is delicious and I can tell the seller took care to bubble wrap the item. Unfortunately, twice we received a broken jar and product we couldn't use. It would probably be safer to ship this in a box instead of a bag since the jar is glass.

This is a great mince meat but it’s an acquired taste. The taste is strong and biting. I don't think it would be useful for baking but you could put some on ice cream or eat it straight out of the jar!

Item was not sealed, the lid was actually loose! Can't return and can't use. Don't buy it, it might be delicious, but its too much of a risk for the cost.

I ordered this brand because it is one of the few where sugar is not listed as the first ingredient. It has a more grown up, spiced taste than the popular brand that I grew up with. The jar easily made 12 mince tarts with some left over as a topping for ice cream for example. I added a little extra brandy, which seemed to help... Package was well wrapped but the first jar arrived with a broken seal and was leaking so too risky to use, but Amazon quickly replaced and the second shipment was fine.

Our family has always had a favorite brand of mincemeat for the holiday season. However it is rarely available in our local stores and when it is, the price has doubled. Thankfully a search on Amazon led to this brand; although the jars are smaller, the mincemeat is packed with amazing flavor! I like that it doesn’t contain meat and the ingredients are cleaner than our previous go-to. Ordered multiple jars; not going to reserve this gem for holidays only!

Worse mincemeat I have ever purchased. Won't order again.

Too expensive

My wife's pumpkin bread was delicious as usual, but we finally got None Such mince meat directly from manufacturer. Crisis averted. Except for the waistline.
