Everything You Need to Ace Geometry in One Big Fat Notebook

Excellent book! The books starts very basic and advances skills as you progress. It is written in a way that is easy to understand. The illustrations are extremely helpful. This book paired with YouTube videos and my high school student has improved his grade and his understanding of geometry.

I bought this for my son, who is very interested in geometry. The workbook is very well organized and has plenty of explanations, examples, and exercises. The charts and graphics are vividly colored. Highly recommend this workbook.

8th Grade Homeschool Review: As a parent and homeschool educator, I've been using a set of books for 8th-grade homeschooling, and I'd like to share my thoughts. These books have proven to be a valuable resource in our homeschool journey. They provide a solid foundation for various subjects, covering a wide range of topics essential for 8th-grade students. What I appreciate most about these books is their comprehensive approach. They offer a well-structured curriculum that allows students to delve into subjects such as mathematics, science, literature, and history. The content is clear, and the exercises and activities help reinforce the learning process. However, it's worth noting that while these books are fantastic as guides, they might not provide all the answers. As with any educational materials, there may be moments when students need additional support or clarification. In such cases, we've found supplemental videos and other educational resources to be incredibly helpful. The combination of these books and supplementary materials has been the key to a well-rounded education. Subnote: This review is intended to serve as a general overview for all the books I'm currently using for 8th-grade homeschooling. If any of the books stand out, either for their exceptional quality or shortcomings, I will provide a more detailed review for that specific book. This book has really helped my 15-year-old son grasp some concepts in HS Geometry that have been eluding him. He says his teacher goes really fast, and this book helps him fill in gaps. Definitely recommend, his grades have gone up steadily since he started using it.

My daughter is very mathematically minded, but she is more of a visual learner, and her Geometry teacher taught in a more auditory-verbal style. She was making Ds for the first time in her life. She thought she just couldn't get this subject. I did a Google search for such a book and found this one. As soon as it arrived and I gave it to her, she took it reluctantly but I saw on her face that it was making sense immediately. She was shocked. She took it to class with her and compared what the teacher was going over to similar examples in the book. Eventually, other students noticed how well she was doing and asked her to help them. She handed them the book, and a few of them passed it back and forth. The teacher saw them and thought they were distracted by something, so she "caught" them with it. She looked at it confused and asked my daughter if this was how she was doing so much better. She said yes, and now the teacher plans to buy a few to keep in her classroom. I hope it helps you! We love these books for our middle/high school kids. They give just that little extra bit of help since most of their stuff is online now and harder to digest.

I bought Everything You Need to Ace Geometry study guide book for my 14 year old son. This is the best study guide book ever! It’s easy to understand using simple terminology and explanations. There are 10 units/chapters all about geometry. Every kid should get it! Highly recommend!

This book and the others like it generally have everything you’ll need unless you’re doing advanced classes, the amount of questions they give per topic is a little small but the answers are always on the next page over which is nice. As far as textbooks go these are the best ones you’ll find when factoring in how cheap they are.

I'm a 22yr old and wasted my time in school i.e. my mathematical knowledge is terrible. Recent interests have developed and I found a need to study mathematics and a certain curiosity toward it. I find this book to be the perfect start. Those who stumbled upon a similar video as to that of 'The Math Sorcerer' where he presents literature for a deep dive into mathematics will see that the recommendations start with either pre-algebra or proof writing/discrete math. Which is also a good place to start. But geometry gets lost somewhere. For most people in my situation, you will most likely have the common pre-algebraic knowledge needed to understand the contents of this book (since it does involve some calculations). Now why do I recommend this particular book as a start? I don't think that pre-algebra books are required for most adults, because intermediate or college algebra books are more serious and still give time to remember and learn new/necessary things to pursue the topic. Pre-algebra might be too easy for most. Geometry, on the other hand, is visual and the book touches on more and more difficult topics the further you go - therefore some things will jog your memory from the school days. I think this leaves a less chance of experiencing boredom. Nothing too difficult though. Secondly, the book focuses a bit on proof writing and deductions, which will be a nice fresh start for the next books in your journey (if you're planning to delve deeper into mathematics). In conclusion, with occasional overlaps into other elementary fields which will be needed in a more focused study of other topics, this book is easy to start with and has more of a chance to kickstart the drive for further inquiry in the field of mathematics. Note: don't expect an elaborate explanation of geometry or the theorems/postulates/axioms/proofs provided. For a more detailed study in geometry I recommend academic books written just about that topic. The reason I rate this book highly is of the potential for adults to have a new start and try to get into mathematics with a new perspective. This is an adequate choice with plenty of room to solve problems and give written solutions for a mind that has been deprived of mathematics. In my opinion, this is the best and only choice from the series for people in a similar situation. Edit: I realized that most curriculums go along a path: 'pre-algebra -> algebra 1 -> geometry'. So not only does the book include simple algebra, it's necessary for studying the later subjects. Although, I must repeat myself that most of the algebraic actions are carefully explained and the book does not contain anything too difficult in that regard.
