This is a nice little unit, heavy duty and smooth rolling with nice ball bearing wheels. Mine shipped with one wheel missing its disc washer which meant it kept falling off, so QC could use some improvement, but easily fixed with a trip to Home Depot. One thing this could definitely benefit from would be a notched axis so you could recreate the same roll arc easily by clicking it to the same notch for re-shoots.

Does the job, but the wheel locking mechanism is incredibly basic. Just a screw with a plastic handle to tighten the wheels at the angle you want. Only use for smooth table tops and other small surfaces at semi low speed movement.

The roll is too bumpy and it shows in the camera footage even on surfaces that are ultra smooth. The applications where this product can work well have been very limited so far. The product itself appears well built but if you have a very sensitive camera you may want to consider other options.

cheap, but works on the simple quick shots you need

Awesome dolly. It is so great for low shots. I had the dolly and my camera tied to a cable and walked around the house making low ground shots. They turned out pretty good. It is like have an old school skate attached to a plate that has a mount for your camera. It is also pretty cool that you can turn and lock the wheels so they can make circles. I am really glad I got it because now I am going to do a shoot with my baby crawling on the floor. I won't have to bend over and It will make for interesting shots.
