kwmobile Origami Case Compatible with Kobo Libra H2O Case - Slim PU Leather Cover with Stand - Petrol

I was skeptical of ordering a 3rd party Kobocase because I had a meh experience with a flimsy, plasticky case previously from a different vendor and assumed this would be basically the same. However, my original Kobo case is falling apart and the Libra H2O case has been discontinued, so I didn't have much of a choice but to research and take a chance with another model. Luckily, this kwmobile is working great for me. The sleep-cover action works, as does the origami fold. The cover itself feels higher end, not plastic. I just hope it holds up longer than my old case. The only minor disappointment is that the cover magnet is not strong enough to hold the cover flap open (attaching to the back) by itself when I read, which is something I love about the original kobo cover that no 3rd party cover can seem to do. Still, it looks and feels great, and it probably the nicest 3rd party origami cover currently available for the Libra H2O in 2025.

Very good case. Like the rubberized case. Better than that vinyl stuff. I am very happy with the dark blue kobo Libra H2O case. Sleep cover function works flawlessly so far. Just make sure you turn the option on the device to on.

The magnets aren’t strong enough to stick to each other, so using it as a stand won’t work, and I very much believe all of the other reviews about the cover not sleeping/waking the Kobo reliably.

The case from Kobo for my Kobo Libra H20 had pretty significant wear on the edges. This version looks like it improved the edging for better wear. It fits perfectly.

Has worked week without issues for a couple of months in light use, folds well, surface has nice touch, will replace with leather once it starts peeling, like the color and texture a lot

I ordered the dark blue and the petrol versions of this case -- neither met expectations. Most of the images/videos attached are of the petrol color. The comparison images are between this product's petrol color and the original Kobo Libre H2O case. Pros: - hard case coverage on all corners - easy access to charging port and power button - snug fit - magnets for "stand" position generally work, though the cover is stiff so you have to flex the bends a few times so that they are loosened enough for the magnets to hold - cover remains closed when held upside down Cons: - an inconsistency between petrol and dark blue versions: the dark blue version would not remain in an open position when held upside-down (petrol held fine) - (seen on both color versions) auto-sleep functionality DOES NOT WORK unless you press the middle of the cover down. Some videos in other reviews show that it works, but they are putting slight pressure on the cover so that the middle magnet presses against the screen to activate the sleep function. I thought I could ignore this but, even with the cover in closed position, the kobo managed to change pages. (video attached to showcase issue) Notes: - the texture between the two colors is slightly different; the dark blue has a pebbled appearance whereas the petrol has a worn-leather appearance. Both are pleasant and barely noticeable as far as feel goes. - the original kobo case has "lines" on the cover's main fold, which are not present on this product. I am returning both items due to the failed auto-sleep feature. Since it is inconsistent, it will wake up the kobo even if I pressed the power button to put it to sleep. I kept the petrol cover for many days and tried to flex the bends so that it would fall easier and maybe help the auto-sleep function, to no avail. I ordered the dark blue to see if I got a lemon, but it also failed.
