Medium sized pack.
This bag is very strongly built. The zippers are tough and the stitching is tough and should hold up to regular use. I have been using it daily for a couple of months and it still looks and feels new. This works very well for someone who wants to be prepared without advertising it to the world.

Minimalist Urban EDC
Just got this pack, and so far I’m impressed. I’ve had the 5.11 Covrt Boxpack for a year now, and thought I’d try something different. I chose this because it looks even more “average” than the 5.11, kinda like a Jansport pack. It has better organization than the 5.11, where everything would just slide around. I wanted something minimalistic, but that had the right amount of storage for all of my gear. The quality seems very durable, but will require some breaking in, as it is very stiff out of the box. The ONLY knock I have so far, but was expected before purchasing, was the location of the concealed carry area. In my 5.11, it was located on the front side of the pack, away from the back. With this pack, it’s located right on your backside. This is a great feature as far as keeping the weapon close to you, but you sacrifice comfort for security, as there is a weapon poking you in the back. I had this issue with a Vertx pack, that I quickly exchanged for the 5.11. I’ve coped with this by placing it on the lower part of the pack, to help form with the curvature of my back. Since this doesn’t have a very sturdy back panel, it’s easier to deal with than the Vertx. I knew this going in, so it’s something that I’ll get accustomed to. I also carry a full size handgun (not pictured), so the size and width does contribute to this issue. You always relinquish some comfort when you conceal carry, so this pack still gets 5 stars. I’ll try to given an updated review to this pack, once I spend some more time with it. I would definitely give this a try if this is your first concealed carry pack, the price is well worth it!

Very nice
Very durable material. Stiff but breaking in nicely. Roomier than the pictures show. One thing I was concerned about was the ccw access only being on one side, but its accessible from both. Came with a strong velcro strip to hold pew (or whatever else you decide to put in there) in place. Should last many years. Very satisfied.

Maxpedition Citizen Backpack
I like the Material, seems very rugged and durable. The Concealment Area where you can Velcro Pouches/Holders and other items is great and discreet. Overall rating 4/5Two things I think can be improved, is on the Zipper for each one on the Backpack, the Size of the Handle to pull the Zipper should be Rubber or another Material and Much Larger, the small cord zippers can get overlapped by the Material and you have to get it out, and not having a Larger Tab on the Zipper to pull with more surface area and “force” makes it harder to open said compartment. My only other suggestions that I think would drastically conclude is Modularity would be for above where you’d be a Laptop/Plate, or Notebook for there to be an area like in the Concealment Area where you can Velcro Pen Holder, Flashlight Holder or whatever you decide. Also as far as the external park of the Backpack, I think if they put Buckles/Straps on each side of the Backpack to tighten/less the Volume/Bulky or how big the Backpack is would be a great idea. It could not only be used for that but also arranged as a Drink Holder by Tightening it down, and or Holder Other Items. These are all things that could improve this backpack a tremendous amount IMO, and make it more modular for the Customer for just a few dollars.

Very robust bag
I could tell from the material that this is one sturdy bag. Had it wet from rain and it easily held up. Bonus for the CCW compartment.

Great bag
Great bag, I’ve used it every day for months now and it’s super solid. I would buy this again and would recommend to anyone that this size of bag would work for

Good investment even for kids.
I really like Maxpedition. I bought my daughter a duffel bag about 6 years ago. She used it all through High School and is now still using it in college. So when my 5th grad elementary school student started tearing up store bought backpacks in less than 1 a month. I went back to Maxpedition. It is a great backpack, not one scratch after several months even though I think he's dragged them home instead of carrying them. Now I want another for myself for work & travel.Update October 2023... the zipper finally gave out, but still... This is the longest lasting backpack I've encountered. I will try & get it fixed (only has a few scuff marks on the bottom). But I did replace with a different cheap one in the meantime only because my kid missed having a water bottle holder.

Very nice. One big, personal, complaint
Very nice so far for what I use it for. My only complaint is I really wish it had side bottle holders. My previous bag had them, and I didn't realize how much I used them until now. Still deciding weather I'll return or not, because the bag is pretty much perfect minus that. Would love to see an updated model with bottle holders
