Perfect for ACCA module

Tricker is played out like the king of corporate governance on MBA courses but… He writes long prose so if you want to read a book he’s ok. If you was usable graphs, diagrams, practical application this is not the book (not found a great one yet!). E.g. he doesn’t clearly describe what companies each set of rules apply to It’s an interesting debate on it but I just can’t engage and it’s VERY expensive

Good book, some great case studies.

Definitely a very up to date book, which reflects recent corporate governance challenges. Case studies frequently describe companies that are operating today, which you probably have heard about or maybe even been their customer (I enjoyed reading the case studies the most). This book explains basic principles and terminology of corporate governance in a structured way with many examples. I can say that the book is very well worked through by the authors to try to make sure that the reader will take most out of it (although, the printed font is a little bit too small for me).

It was very neat and right to my doorstep

I loved this book, It's clarity and flow make it easy to read. The Case studies are great, I interacted with them giving my thoughts and opinions on behaviours and practices. At its heart governance is the fight between good and evil. Lots of ignorence, bad behaviour, greed and stupidity vs. Self-control, taking care, behaving ethically towards others and the environment and being responsible for creating safe, equal and effective places.
