Together, they've saved the world countless times from unimaginable dangers. But the price has been high. Their ranks have diminished after fighting off an alien invasion and with new dangers arising at an ever-increasing pace, the remaining crime fighters realize that protecting the entire world is going to take more technology and more manpower. A lot more. Featuring the original seven Leaguers - Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Flash, J'onn J'onzz, Green Lantern and Hawkgirl - now joined by an unlimited selection of allies including Green Arrow, Supergirl and Black Canary. But some think that so many heroes, so much power, is too much power and a conspiracy against them named Cadmus is growing. And after years of foiled plots and repeated beatings, the galaxy's worse villains finally have a plan: strength in numbers! Led by Lex Luthor, the Legion of Doom prepares to dominate the universe. First order of business: destroy the Justice League! Review: Still my favorite DC Team Up show! - This is still a great show to watch. Wish it ran longer. Unlike the previous show, which had only six heroes, this version expands upon it with lots of characters. The only downside, is many characters only had one episode where they talk, and you got to know them. The first season was mostly about the original six, and the later seasons were about the other heroes and villains. One of the best features is how well the show was written. There is lots of character development. The show deals with life and death, which is rare even in today's times. Betrayal, lust, greed, romance, and so on. DC and Warner Bros were known to push the envelope more than Marvel or Disney back then. Not to worry, there is plenty of humor and the show is fun to watch. I've had no issues with the Blu-ray collection. I prefer Blu-ray over DVD as the discs tends to last longer, not prone to scratches and are durable if you take care of them. You get better picture and sound quality. There are little extras. Wish they included a character biography, so people would know more about who they are watching without going on the internet. In the end, if you love DC and love watching the many characters from the DC Comics and universe, you should check the show out. It has great story writing, great character development, and music. Review: The remaster is impressive and the show is really good - No sign of AI, it's a true remaster, and looks impressive, by far the best way to watch this cartoon

nice set has something for all to see and has alot of good stuff todays cartoons dont have now
huge fan of the series and wish they made more Seaon 2 is the best imo and had a lot of good stories in there. Best episodes has got to be Batman singing the blues and of course the Question Episodes. Theres not a big difference in the qualtiy of the bluray vs the dvds I notice so far. I played both the dvd and bluray on the same TV and player but i dont see the difference even on a 4kuhd samsung 7100 and samsung 7500 blu ray player. Could be my tv settings and all but nothing like if I saw dirt or a stain on supermans cape really good on the bluray but on the dvd u barely see the stain and the mud. Still a great deal all 3 season in 1 set compared to the dvds it was 2 sets and the packaing was very cheap to me. the price is not too bad either I remember paying 25$ for the dvds when they first came out on day 1.. Extra are pretty much the same as teh dvds menus are pretty basic and ez to follow. Overall a good set to grab especially if u havent gotten it yet or a huge fan

One of the greatest animated shows ever made.
A funny fact about entertainment: there are kid's shows with more depth and better writing than most "adult" programming. Justice League is one of those shows. With the success of The Batman Animated Series (and to a lesser extent, the Superman Animated Series), the show's creators decided to try taking a stab at making a full on Justice League Series. After a successful run, they decided to end it and start up a sequel series, Justice League Unlimited. Now, while the show has it's fair share of corny moments and dialogue (after all, it was still aimed at younger audiences, and it came out during the early 2000's when our culture was still recovering from a 90's hangover) a lot of the episodes cover stories and characters that are complex and interesting. They even try their own versions of critically-acclaimed comics like "The Man who has Everything." This is one of those shows that anyone of any age can enjoy, right up there with Samurai Jack and Batman. I highly recommend it! As for the disc itself, it was well packaged and I've had no problems playing it.

Classic Show
JL Ultimate is one of the best comic book animated shows around. Getting it on Blu-ray at a very reasonable price is a steal.

The DCAU Swan Song
This is what ends up being the final show in the DC animated universe (in terms of the original run of television series) which started in the early 1990s with Batman The Animated Series, continued with Superman The Animated Series, Batman Beyond, and Justice League. It ran for three seasons on Cartoon Network, each of them being 13 episodes long. Justice League was always a show that the showrunners were not sure would continue, so they were always writing the seasons as if there would be no more episodes. This version of the series not only tied up storylines from prior shows, it also expanded the number of characters where just about every DC comic hero made an appearance (however brief) over the course of the series. As is the case with the other series by the same showrunners, they pay homage to but do not always fall in lock-step with the comics. Over the course of the series they adapted the Cadmus storyline (which was itself adapted in the live action Supergirl series) as well as the legion of Doom storyline. They basically pack as much as they can into the show and manage to make it a coherent flowing story. For those who get the blu-rays, the show looks about as good as a mid-2000s cartoon can. The extras include commentary tracks on a couple of episodes as well as a couple making-of features where the producers go through the various storylines and how they came up with ideas for the series. One of them was conducted as a sit-down round-table chat conducted by Mark Hamill. A good amount, but nowhere near the level of bonus material on the newly released blu-ray set for Batman The Animated Series. It also has the plus of being able to stop and pick back up where you leave off, even if that is in the middle of an episode, which was not available in the Season 2 of the original Justice League series. Definitely worth picking up for fans of the show.

Interesting but still brilliant product
Episodes 3-8 on the first disc are out of order but the other discs episodes are in order. Everything else works wonderfully. The visuals looks great, the audio sounds wonderful. I just found it weird

This Justice League Unlimited blu ray arrived earlier than expected and in immaculate condition. I've only tested the first episode but the picture quality and sound is an upgrade from the cartoon I grew up watching many years ago. This has been a worthwhile purchase!
