Jillian Michaels Ultimate Cross-Training Kit

I have been into exercise and fitness all my life and I am always searching for different pieces of equipment to enhance my regular workout routines. I believe in the basic principles of circuit training and using different pieces of equipment in my fitness programs.This combination kit is perfect for those into using the medicine ball, weight training and using the kettlebell. This unit is easy to break down, but I did have a little trouble figuring out how to attach some of the pieces to change exercises etc. Even though the kettlebell handle was easy to put on and off, the weight of the medicine ball was a little light for me. Neverthless, it does give you a good workout if you are into doing high reps for each exercise. The price was reasonable for this cross-training unit and was an excellent value for all the things you get with this cross-training kit. It also includes an exercise chart and a DVD showing all the exercises you can do with this unit.In conclusion, if you are into total fitness this would be an excellent choice for your home gym.Rating: 4 Stars. I love this product. As with all products endorsed by Jillian Michaels, I found it to be versatile, effective, and a wonderful addition to my home gym equipment. The instructions and tutorial dvd are pretty helpful and I was able to create a dynamic workout for myself using the exercises that were recommended. The only thing is, the different bars and add-ons don't attach as quickly and easily as one is led to believe. Even though the instructions are there, some of the bars don't screw on easily and if you want to switch from one piece of equipment to another within one workout, you will definitely spend a few minutes resting, allowing your heart rate to dip. Though, that could just be my experience! Also, the bars sort of have an ongoing "new equipment smell" that is sort of unpleasant. I hope that it wears off soon. For some of the long bar moves, you need high ceilings or should move outdoors. All in all, it's solid and I don't regret buying the system.

I was super excited to get this equipment and when it came I took it all out tried out all the attachments and found when I put the kettle ball handle on it would not detach so that you could interchange to use the other tools. Very disappointing. I returned it and got a refund

My husband and I like to throw the medicine ball back and forth as we do sit up's together. It's our time to work out, and just do things to better ourselves.

cheaply made, exploded when used with long handle for hammer workouts. the quick change connection is a poor construction. Was hard to tell if handle was connected or not. good idea bad exicution
