It seems that If you don't need both of your pci express Power outs for a high-end graphics card, that this would be a great solution if you nead a dual Cpu 8 pin solution for your motherboard. If you do need another pci Express cable there is another solution as well for that instance(with still buying this cable), and getting an power conversion cable from Ebay that would alter an sata power to pci ex, or an sata to molex solution, here's a link: (well this is an amazon one) https://www.amazon.com/Power-Express-Video-Cable-Adapter/dp/B007Y8FSMQ --- that is what you could use as an solution, if you need both pci-ex and an secondary PSU 8pin. If you havea corsair standard Pci-ex cable you should have the proper cabling anyways, this is a just in case scenario for you, But yes this cable would work perfectly for your system.
