I've used Brickell face products for years, as well as their shampoo and conditioner. I was looking for a new pomade, so figured I'd give theirs a try as they typically are solid on using quality ingredients. My hair is full but thin and I typically don't let it grow beyond three inches on top / shorter on the sides. The pomade is of a thick, smooth consistency with grip; quite tacky, as it should be. A little goes a long way and it's overall easy to apply. The instructions note that it's best applied to dry hair, but I found that it was tougher to run through my hair when dry (maybe because my hair is thin) -- so I apply when my hair has just a touch of dampness and it's been great. Hold is strong so my hair stays in place all day. There is a nice, light peppermint scent that is noticeable but not overpowering. Based on my daily use, I'd expect the container to last six weeks or so. One of my issues with some pomades is that they are tough to wash out, so you get build up over the course of its use, among other issues. That is not an issue with this product -- rinses out very well even without shampoo. Probably a testament to the cleaner product list. My girlfriend is a fiend when it comes to ingredients, and she gives this product a stamp of approval for my everyday use. Overall, this will be my new go-to pomade and would recommend to anyone looking for a quality men's product.

My new favorite hair styling product! This Brickell product is pliable and easy to work with; it’s got a slight pleasant scent and strong, matte hold, keeping my hair styled all day without getting heavy and greasy like other products. I’ve tried all sorts of different creams and pomades, many recommended by my hair stylist. For the most part, these have been sticky and more difficult to apply and much more expensive. I also like Brickell’s ‘Styling Clay Pomade’ but the Strong Hold Texturizer is lighter while also keeping my hair in place better. I’m not sure how that’s possible, but I love it. Great price, great product - highly recommend!!

Really solid pomade. This is my third time buying this product. It gives a strong hold that lasts all day but still feels flexible, not stiff. The low shine looks natural and works great for adding texture. I like that it's made with good ingredients like argan oil and proteins, so it doesn't dry my hair out-actually feels healthier after using it. Perfect if you want your hair to stay in place but still be easy to restyle.

This is my first time using Brickell products. In general, I don’t have any problem with this pomade. To me it’s just fine, but it’s nothing special either. It really doesn’t seem any different than previous similar pomade products I have used in the past. The scent seems to simply be the smell of the individual ingredients, at least it seems that way to me. This does not smell like it’s intentionally scented. I thought it was gonna have some refreshing masculine scent, but there seems to be no fragrance to it. This completely washes out of my hair very easily, the shine is low as advertised, and the hold is good. I think the hold depends on the type of hair you’re applying it to, though…how much product you’re using, and whether or not you’re applying to wet or dry hair. I have fine thin hair, no balding, and the length is short to medium. I always apply to my wet hair shortly after I exit the shower. For me, it doesn’t take too much product to get my personal style done. I use about a 1/4 to 1/2 a dimes worth. I can see how someone might need to use much more than I do, though. My only complaint is the size of the container. I use very little of this stuff every day and it’s going too fast. I suspect Brickell chose the small size to keep the price point competitive to other similar products out there. Because of the small size, though, it’s impossible to read anything on the container. I struggle to read any of the small print, even with my iPhone magnifier. I’m not exaggerating, it’s quite comical how small the print is on the container, lol. Brickell should raise the price by a few bucks, and increase the size of the container so consumers can actually read everything on it. What is the point of having any print on the container if nobody can read it? Will I be buying this again? If the same deal from my initial purchase came by again, then maybe. I paid $16 for this with Brickell brand promotion discount and an Amazon coupon. At that price, I’d be very tempted to buy again. I would not pay $24 for this, though. At that price, I would rather try something different that has a larger container so I don’t have to buy as often.

Brickell's is a great product line. The products are far more naturally based than most products in the market and you give up nothing in quality of the product and in the case of the Texturizing Pomade, it's performance. I have fine hair and if I let the length get too long the hair tends to pop out around my ears. I use the pomade and it holds it tight to my head and the matte version keeps it looking clean and dry - no greasy look, just great hold. Highly recommended.

Great matte finish. Restyle throughout the day easily. Use a little for a natural loose windswept style or use a bit more in damp hair for a stronger shinier hold. Washes out easily. No offensive smell. Expensive but very good. Can be extremely *grabby* in dry hair when you first apply it, so be careful or you will pull quite a lot of hair out as you style. Best to rub and spread in damp hands to make application a little gentler.
