I recently had all my carpets replaced, and I didn’t even realise that my chair’s traditional plastic wheels could actually ruin them. After doing a lot of research and reading up on how office chairs damage new carpets, I decided to change the wheels and went with these rubber castors. Honestly, I’m so glad I did. These wheels are true carpet saviours. The impact of sitting down and moving the chair is almost zero compared to the old wheels. With the traditional wheels, you can see them digging into the carpet fibres even when the chair is just standing in one place. Over time they leave marks and wear patches. With these replacement wheels, that problem is gone. The chair rolls smoothly without any pressure points, and I can already tell my new carpet is being protected. This is a simple upgrade that can save you from expensive damage. Highly recommended!

Awesome wheels, perfect for a hardwood floor due to their rubberised wheels. The only downside to them is they are FAST! like the chair will fly across the room, out the window and down the road at a mere gentle poke. And trying to sit on the chair can be fun as the chair flies away from you like someone pulled it out from under you. So grab the arm rests first or you'll be sat on the floor wonder what you did with your life. But yeah, worth every penny, they are excellent quality and silent and protect your floors. Buy them!

The Mastery Mart Rollerblade Style Caster Wheels have unquestionably improved my office chair's performance, particularly on thick carpet. Their ability to protect floors and reduce wear on carpet fibers is impressive. These wheels are a fantastic upgrade for the Herman Miller Aeron chair, fitting perfectly and enhancing its overall experience. Plus, their smooth and silent operation on various floors is a remarkable feature that keeps my workspace peaceful. However, there's one minor drawback to be aware of. When dealing with exceptionally thick carpet, it can be a bit challenging to glide the chair back after adjusting in the opposite direction. Turning the wheels back to the correct orientation may require a bit of force. While this doesn't detract significantly from the overall experience, it's worth considering if you have extremely plush carpeting. In summary, the Mastery Mart Rollerblade Style Caster Wheels offer excellent floor protection and are a great upgrade for an office chair. Their only minor drawback comes into play on exceptionally thick carpet. Despite this, they remain a valuable addition to my workspace, and I would recommend them to anyone looking to enhance their chair's mobility and floor protection. I never thought I’d be writing a glowing review for chair wheels, but here we are. These things are a total game-changer and value for money. They glide silently, without scratching my floors so total damage prevention, and honestly make moving around my desk feel like I'm floating. If you're still using the cheap plastic wheels that came with your chair, do yourself a favor and upgrade. Very easy to install. Just pop out the old plastic ones and push these in. 10/10.

Having had new carpets fitted, I was reluctant to continue to hide them with a plastic floor protector just so that my office chair would roll. Having read the reviews, these replacement wheels seemed like an ideal solution. They were very easy to fit and rolled very nicely on the plastic floor protector. However, I have tried them on the carpet and they won’t roll at all. It’s not a particularly thick or deep carpet, but the wheels just entrench and refuse to roll. So I’ve had to keep the floor protector in place. The annoying thing is that if these chair wheels roll off the protector, they seem to get caught on the edge of it more than the original wheels did. So all in all, these are doing pretty much the same job as the originals. They would be marginally superior on a hard floor, I’d say, but if your original wheels don’t roll on your carpet, I suspect these won’t either.

Sooooo much better than the original wheels i got with my chair, glides so much better and doesn’t feel like it’s scratching the floor!

The wheels are good quality and would be perfect for hard floors. I bought them for low-pile carpet and they did not work (my current ones worked much better). Returned them without issue.

UPDATE: July 1st, 2019: I've now had my replacement set for 2 months. The casters are still in perfect working order. No ball bearings have fallen out, they still roll perfectly fine. I've updated the review from 1 to 4 stars. As I said earlier I was quite happy with them before the first set started to fall apart. The same can be said with this set, except they aren't falling apart. The reason for 4 stars is because they do seem to have some trouble with manufacturing defects or something, which causes some sets to break. However, I would say give them a chance. If you have a similar experience to what I had below, contact the seller and see if you are eligible for a replacement set. It worked out for me, it may for you. I initially had no intention to, but they contacted me, so I changed my mind. I'll leave the old review below. (OLD REVIEW): Do not buy these wheels. I've had them for less than 2 months and I'm already picking ball bearings out of my carpet. Absolute garbage. Bought on February 15th, 2019. As of April 15th 2019, I've found 7 ball bearinigs. Who knows how many I missed. Extremely disappointed. Never buying from this company/seller again, and I suggest others avoid like the plague. Overpriced junk. For what little it's worth, I did enjoy them before they started crapping ball bearings all over the place, and Amazon was hounding me for a review but I hadn't had them long enough to say much. Now they're already falling apart so here's your review. UPDATE (May 7/19): After this review went up I was contacted by Mastery Mart customer service about a replacement or refund for a defective product. I requested a replacement and on April 19th I was told I would receive an email with tracking after it had shipped. I never got any such email, the just suddenly showed up on April 30th. It's possible they were there earlier but I have no clue as I was never told they even shipped, let alone arrived. I installed and have been using the replacement since that day. On May 6th I received a semi-suspicious email from someone claiming to be an E Commerce Manager at Mastery Mart. It stated the same things, that I had received a defective product and am eligible for replacement or refund. The thing that set off the suspicion alarms was that it came from a gmail account, and not through the Amazon Message Centre as the previous one did. As a result, instead of replying, I'm updating this review even though I have not had my replacement long enough to say much of any note. I will update the review again on June 30th, 2019 once I have had these wheels as long as the previous set, or if something else goes wrong. So here's the 1 week replacement update: Casters are fine after 1 week of use. No ball bearings have fallen out. I wound up finding 14 ball bearings from the previous set.
