This is a very nice piece of equipment. I bought it because, neither of my iPod or my vehicle have Bluetooth capability and the car radio does not have an AUX in port. I just plug my classic iPod into the in/out port on the side of this adaptor and tune my car radio into the same FM radio station as the one I set on the adaptor and I have perfect sound. No external electrical interference noises or static. I get just plain excellent sound from the recordings on my iPod, through my car radio. The jacks on both the adaptor and my iPod are 3.5mm. I tried another brand that was supposed to work, but it only had an output jack on the adaptor, so when I plugged the cable into the port, I got nothing. I'm very pleased with this adaptor. I thought I was going to have to buy a new radio for a couple hundred dollars, but this amazing little adaptor saved me from having to do that. It will work if you do have Bluetooth capability. I can't think of any kind of set up this adaptor would not work with. It's well built and feels nice and solid. I would add a video of it working, but I figured I wouldn't be allowed to post it due to copywrite laws. I would love to have everyone listen to how great the sound is through the adaptor and my old time car radio. I am using this in a 2007 Chevy Uplander. I highly recommend this adaptor and this seller. A+++++++ for both!! I had a problem with the fist one I received, but the seller was quick to send out a replacement and now I can listen to my audio books while I drive. Don't be afraid to get one of these if you need to attach an external gadget to your old style car radio. If I need another one, I will be getting the same thing from the same seller. I'm a very happy camper!!

I have an older car that only has radio + cd player, so I needed a good way to connect my iPhone to the sound system. This has served me well for 2.5 years now, so I figured it was time for a review. I'm going to start by saying, it's good, I'm giving it 5 stars. It immediately connects when I turn on the car, which is super convenient, and the skip/back/pause buttons are easy to use without taking my eyes off the road. All that said, I do have a couple of minor user experience complaints. The way this thing works is by connecting via bluetooth to your phone, and then broadcasting the music via radio so your car radio can pick it up. This approach has some advantages and disadvantages no matter the product. One disadvantage is if you drive long distances, it can be hard to find one radio signal that is clear the entire way, and if you come into an area that is already using your frequency it quickly starts to muddle up your sound quality. The solution is to find a static-y frequency on your car radio, and then change this device's frequency to match, but since the screen and buttons are small this is hard to do while driving. Furthermore, if you car port powers down when your car does (which is what you want, otherwise this thing would just sit and eat the battery while the car is off from what I remember reading from other reviews), it can do some weird things. I found that if I put the car to on but don't start the engine, let it connect to my phone, and then start the engine, it blips the power and gets into a state where the bluetooth device doesn't think it's connected but the phone does, and I have to completely shut off bluetooth on my phone and then try to connect again to get it to work. Not a huge deal, it's just annoying. Similarly when the car shuts off it doesn't terminate the connection with the phone properly so the phone will still act like it's playing music on the device for 10-15 seconds after turning off the car. Overall great product, gets the job done, just a couple of small annoyances.

Mine works amazing!! There are really only 2 minor complaints though, 1 is when you press the button for next song it doesn't always work so you have to go to the next song on your phone. 2 there is a slight static noise but once the lirics kick in you don't here it! But otherwise it's really easy, nice, compact, convenient and the Bluetooth connection is great!! All you have to do is unplug it so it doesn't drain your battery but it holds a great charge and shows your cars battery voltage!!

This worked amazingly with a very old radio in a very old truck. I have had no issues with it failing, and it was easy to set up and use.

Easy to setup, no issues finding a station that works, and connects to the phone every time! Ive always felt FM transmitters are hit and miss as far as how well they work or of they work at all. I was pleasantly surprised by this one. Used in 07 Highlander, plays audio great with no issues. I do not use this for phone calls so cannot rate based on call clarity or connections.

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Fits into your car lighter socket, powers on immediately and is ready to pair. Adjust volume on your phone to max, then adjust volume on this device to max, then adjust your radio volume to the loudest you want your music. After that, just turn down this device's volume with the dial, until it is a comfortable listening volume. If you hear any buzz (1 kHz whine) adjust the FM frequency of the device 1 click at a time and your radio station the same, until you get a good, clear, strong signal. Controls are easy to understand and intuitive! Honestly had to adjust the BASS/TREBLE on my car radio, as this device produces a better sound than the AUX port built into my car. Very good sound. Also, the one click phone call answer is handy.
