I am sorry I have only tried it cold but it is wonderful coffee I would imagine it would make a good cup of hot coffee

I see there is a hint of caramel and hazelnut. has anything been added to the original coffee bean for these “notes” of flavor?

Great question!! I hope the company gets back to you. But I don’t believe they are. All coffees like wine have hints of other undertone flavors.

I don't understand why make a concentrate. Why not have directions to just make the coffee without the complication of the concentrate?

I agree - seems pointless. I don’t make the concentrate - I just add the full amount of water the first time.
