162UH Next Gen Staglon Wolverine Full Tang Fixed Blade Knife

Nice looking knife and well built. I have carried a vintage Schrade Sharp Finger for many years so that is the standard I am judging by. That being said the Wolverine has a thicker blade and was not too sharp when it arrived. It is also a bit heaver. The lengths are about the same. I have owned the Wolverine for about a month now. I initally spent about an hour honeing the knife and I can now easily shave with it. It also holds its edge about as well as the Sharp Finger. The sheath is also now broken in and I like the way it holds the knife. I am also used to the feel of the knife and I am quite pleased. Good size, design and quality. I do not carry a fancy knife to impress or a big knife intimidate it is simply a practical tool that comes in quite handy. For a regular everyday carry knife that looks great, sharpens easily and holds an edge, this is a good choice.

If you're an avid outdoorsman and need a knife that's capable of a variety of tasks , this is probably going to be the knife you've been looking for !!!!!! Very nice sheath ,built to last. All in all the best part is , you forget you're even wearing it. It came sharp ,but I made it scary sharp!!! For the price you'll never do better . Very ,Very , Nice knife. Peace

I couldn't believe the quality for the price. Handle plates held on with screws which makes them easy off for cleaning our blood underneath. Quality, sturdy leather sheath grips knife well. I ride my Harley with this, always stays tight. Great Schrade steel, takes and keeps an edge.

Really nice looking knife. Arrived sharp and well made. The scales and sheath were better done than the new Sharpfinger I recently purchased. Feels great in hand and fits nice in the sheath. I sold the Sharpfinger to a friend as it was too slow to deploy (get out of the sheath) without accidentally cutting the retaining strap. This knife sits snug in the sheath but is easy and fast to pull out. I conditioned the sheath and burnished the edges with Johnson's paste wax (yellow can). Hit the blade with a ceramic rod and strop, and waxed the knife with car polish. It's almost too beautiful to use which is why I can't comment on the blade steel yet. Love the shape of the blade and flat grind. I carry this knife mostly as a "deterrent" when I'm out working at night. Glad I bought it and have recommended it to several friends. Wouldn't hesitate to buy again.

This knife came in today and it was severely bent. The box was not damaged at all but when I unwrapped the knife I noticed it was bent to the left. This does have a lifetime warranty so I hope this can be fixed and another shipped out.

this is a solid built knife. it feels good in my hand when carving soft wood. sadly, it seems to dull out quickly. i have not used it for hunting or fishing, but i bet it would do very nicely there.

Well Constructed and very sharp. I do not like these knife Sheaths with out a snap to hold the knife in place. over time these sheaths get soft, loose and you loose your knife. Thats why I give it 3 rather than 5.
