Very entertaining at parties...
I bought a three pack of these for a Harry Potter party (college aged) and they provided quite a lot of entertainment as some of the attendees blindly tasted the beans while the rest (too scared to try them) watched. My boyfriend had the unfortunate luck of receiving the vomit flavored one and looked about ready to vomit himself. The packs are not very big, but some of the flavors are so atrocious you don't particularly need a lot of them. They're perfect for the hardcore Harry Potter fan. I recommend having a camera around to capture the facial expressions.

Excellent product, excellent price
These make great stocking stuffers, and provide hours of fun for the whole family - we like to throw a giant pile out there and try and guess the flavors, and laugh when we get them wrong. Great to dare people to eat the disgusting flavors. They are very true to their flavors for the most part! Very happy with my purchase - will be buying again for gifts!

Small, but fun
The boxes of jellybeans were much smaller than I'd anticipated (but then it's been a decade since I bought anything Bertie Bott). I wish there was a little more mystery to what flavor you might get: there's a picture key on the back of the box that tells you the flavors. Dirt tasted pretty gross, but rotten egg...I still shudder at the thought of that bean. These made for a nice stocking stuffer for my PotterHead and we all had fun with the flavors.

Good price and entertaining
As described and arrived quickly. We used these for a Harry Potter themed party for a 10 and 11 year old's birthday parties. We mixed them in a bowl and made a sign with the flavors and their colors and the kids took turns daring grandma to eat different flavors. The flavors are extremely realistic which is surprising depending on what flavor you choose...

Fun gift for kids!
I bought this as a gift for girls and a boy aged 3-9. Only one of them has read Harry Potter, but they all thought they were hilarious. They kept daring each other to eat the gross flavors. Their reactions were priceless -- it definitely justifies the high price of this novelty item.

I purchased these to give her as a surprise when she came back from the dentist and it worked like a charm
My daughter, who just finished the Harry Potter series, was scheduled to have two teeth pulled. I purchased these to give her as a surprise when she came back from the dentist and it worked like a charm. She forgot all about her dental trauma and was obsessed with reading all the flavors, trying them out, and scheming about how to get me to eat a vomit-flavored bean (yeah, that's so not happening). It was so effective, it made me think there must actually be a little magic in each of these boxes. I doubt she'll eat most of the favors (earthworm, rotten egg, etc) but given that you're really buying an experience and considering the particulars of our circumstance, this was easily the best $6 I've spent in a long time.

These are great for Potter fans- but absurdly pricey!!!
The beans are all a variety of flavors - gross to good. My children each got them and I ate one that turned out to be vomit (I nearly did too - it was revolting) and I think I had a cinnamon - which was good. I think they may be made by Jelly Belly and so they are similar quality. The price was terrible as the package is quite small really. The only justification is that Santa chose to splurge for Christmas and indulge my kids with something they were really excited to get, they had no idea these really existed. I think even Santa wasn't prepared to pay the King's ransom required for the chocolate frogs.
