It gives many exercises to make your meditation better and to follow a more peaceful and happy life. It is a great book that teaches you the importance of meditation and spirituality.

Then again I wasn't ready for meditation before. I always wanted it and wanted to get in that mind set. However, God did not bring this to me until I was ready. I am floored how this book makes me feel like I am talking directly with Sri. I cannot wait to go to the meditation festival in a couple weeks. All I can say is "Wow". Also reads fast.

This book is a very good, I bought me it again, I did read this book many years ago, when I was learning to meditate hos sri chinmoy. It is a very good book, about meditation and god.

Best spiritual book so far.

This has to be the best beginners' guide to meditation there is. I've tried others and failed. Using Sri Chinmoy's simple yet profound and valuable insights, I'm on the path! Not least of his achievement here is to explain the real nature and purpose of meditation to me in a few direct, insightful passages - something other writers I had tried conspicuously failed to achieve.

Sri chinmoy writes in a way that is very clear and easy to understand; anyone new to the spiritual life or someone who has never read any Sri chinmoy's work will appreciate his poetic and soulful approach.Full of practical advise and techniques.
