Great pair of lanterns, they are super bright and have no issue lighting up a reasonable sized room in case of a power cut and are more than enough for a tent. They are very robust as well, I have taken them camping just thrown into my bag and even dropped them a couple of times and they haven't broken and still work perfectly. Can't say exactly how long the battery life is but I haven't had to replace them yet, although admittedly they are only on intermittently. Overall highly recommended and well worth the money, I have actually gone back and purchased a second pair they are so good.

Lightweight easy to use and bright light what more could you want? The lamp turns on by pulling up on the handles and off by pushing down on the top. Like the design of when lamps is off the unit is nice and compact especially as the handles fold down too. No idea on battery life as yet as I haven’t needed to use them (got in case of power cut)

Very useful especially for my family in Jamaica following hurricane Melissa and the fact that the electricity is not working. Definitely buying again as part of relief aid support for those without electricity.

Perfect size, very lightweight, the Battery’s last a very long time. The light is bright although we also had Battery powered fairy lights going around the inside of our tent aswell. Perfect you get two as we had one in our main compartment and one in the bedroom, We left them on whilst we went out at night and they give the tent a nice low glow from the outside which is nice to come back to also wards intruders off. I like have they close push together to turn off. Feel good quality id definitely reccomend!

They have good light but I was looking for Lighthouse make which I purchased a year ago. Which has on & off button flashing to let you know were it is also pressing the button gives you high medium & low lightning levels. The new ones you have to pull up the handles and the full light comes on. Did keep them as they come in a pair and good for the price. 1 in each bedroom and you don't wake each other up at night with lights on.

Handy tool

We've had 4 electricity blackouts in the last 4 months. We have a wind up NT "storm lantern" but unless you continually wound it up, it faded so the light wasn't good. I saw these battery LED versions. I can't comment on the battery life as we've hardly used them. However, having bought them after the 3rd blackout they were absolutely brilliant during the 4th. Easy to carry around with you from room to room using the inbuilt handles and the beam is bright enough to illuminate the whole room. (My husband even criticised it for being too bright). Really glad I had them during the latest episode (these are ongoing as there's a break in an underground cable that they can't trace).
