KODAK Mini 3 Retro 4PASS Portable Photo Printer (3x3") + 8 Sheets, Black

This is an excellent and easy to use device i bought to replace the mini shot 3 after I dropped it. The mini shot 3 wasn't the camera I needed but I loved it as a printer but this new device is so much better. it looks great, it's quiet, quick and produces superb results. As long as its got a good battery charge it's very easy to connect - much easier than the mini shot 3. Downloading the Kodak photo printing software was easy. I am really happy with it and have printed at least a dozen photos so far. Works perfectly with iPhone. Love it.

Brilliant little printer ready to set up and use.

Just bought this printer and first time connecting it to the app a firmware update installed, without giving me an option not to, which has in effect bricked the device as it doesn't connect at all no matter what "troubleshooting" steps I take. Not been able to print any images so can't review the product, but I don't recommend you buy it as the app you need to use is not fit for purpose. **Since this review the fireware has been updated and the app syncs with the printer** The image quality is great considering the device isn't a professional image printer, I have had no issues at all and find it perfect to keep memories of my adventures.

Print quality exceptional. Value for money, yes as cheaper than ink for printer. Battery life not a problem as use while charged. Speed great considering a 4 pass. Only issue is app. This has to be addressed

The quality of the photos are fantastic and they are still great quality 3 years on with no fading but half way through the first cartridge it came up with an error that it ran out of ink. Changed the cartridge and it printed 1 more picture before error, no paper. Since then it just will not recognise the cartridges at all and won’t print and I’ve tried everything. I don’t think I would recommend for the reason, it’s not cheap so the risk it’s not going to work isn’t worth it, even if the quality of the photos are great.

Original cartridge in the printer was dodgy, film jammed inside and unusable but worked perfectly fine when I added one of the new cartridges in. Wasted that first pack… Shame wasn’t in perfect condition considering the pricing but quality is decent.

People out there need to know about this it is brilliant everyone that has seen photos want some off me. Black and white option is also great for replicating the old fashioned look. Great value machine very clever truly amazed by it.

Really good prints and fun to use but after About 8cartridges now Does not accept any more and have to replace ,reluctant to replace but have another box of film . Still deciding , unhappy customer .

Works really well and lovely printouts. Easy to change the cartridges also. Pictures are a nice size too and not too small.

Aucun souci technique rencontré dans sa mise en oeuvre (juste le fait que la connexion bluetooth est à faire via l'appli et non pas via le gestionnaire de connexion du téléphone comme indiqué dans la notice). Donne de petites photos (7,6x7,6cm) de qualité très correcte. Elles sortent avec une bande blanche d'environ 1 cm en bas de la photo (en plus des 7,6x7,6), sans doute nécessaire au process d'impression. il y a également sur le papier photo une ligne de pointillés en prédécoupe destinée à découper la bande blanche. Le seul défaut relatif est le format carré qui vient du coup découper la photo originale rectangulaire. Du coup cela se prête bien à des photos verticales mais moins à des photos horizontales. Les photos se sélectionnent via l'appli qui accède à l'album habituel de l'appareil photo. Les possibilités d'édition de l'appli sont réduites mais suffisantes. Les couleurs sont plutôt correctes et fidèles. Lorsque qu'une photo me paraît mal imprimée (couleurs délavées ou trop flashies) je m'aperçois ainsi que l'original n'était pas exceptionnel (éclairage trop sombre ou contraste trop fort). L'imprimante est vraiment petite (13x11cm), pas trop lourde, avec un seul bouton (On/Off) et permet d'imprimer 10 photos avec une cartouche. Elle se connecte immédiatement à l'appareil photo une fois la première connexion réalisée (ce qui prend 2 secondes). Au final c'est un bon produit pour qui veut imprimer rapidement de petites photos souvenir à garder avec soi ou à donner.
