Tutto 17" Carry-On - Small (Fits Jem, etc.)

Very nice rolling case for a small sewing machine and would pass the carry-on size restrictions. Too small for my Bernina 350 but would fit my Featherweight if I needed a case for it, which I don't. Had to return it which was a bummer as it is a lovely sturdy rolling case.

My Singer Featherweight sewing machine fits perfectly. Rolls easily with lots of storage for quilting supplies.

I am delighted with this small Tutto. It is well made and the only case I have found that will fit a Singer Featherweight machine as a carry on. It has pockets all over. I can see that security on this case will be easy to manage. The zippers appear to be high quality. And the color is the richest jewel-tone turquoise you can imagine. I can't wait to fly to my first retreat of the year with this case, knowing my little vintage machine will be safe by my side. And it's lightweight, which is a plus. The cost is worth it for this case. I'll be watching Tutto. I expect that I will be purchasing more from this line.

Did not hold up, pull handle came off, zipper broke, if not for a friend who carried it, I would have been stranded.

I ordered this product after measuring both of my sewing machines three times, and checking every web site that claimed to list the internal and external dimensions of this case. I was really worried as it seemed that it was going to be an inch too small for the height of the smaller machine. In fact I was so worried I tried to cancel the order and go to plan B. Ok. Now the good news. I have a Bernina B330 which actually belongs to my son, and it fits. Just barely, and I mean “just barely” but it fits. My Bernina 475QE will not fit, so if you need to take that machine on a plane, you either need to send it in the original box, or find an appropriate dry box with foam and cut it to fit the machine. For those who are in to details here are the official dimensions of the Bernina B330. 14.5″L / 6.5″ D/ 12″H The dimensions of the Tutto are Interior: 16 " L x 12 " H x 9" D / Front access: 14 " L x 11 " H / Top access: 12 " L x 6 " D And just for the curious, the dimensions of the Bernina 475QE 16.7" x 7.9" x 12.9" as you can see the extra inch in height and length makes all the difference. So, now, forget about putting the machine in though the top of the case. It has to be inserted through the generous side panel and the machine has to be tipped at about a thirty degree angle so the top goes in first. And then the bottom of the machine slides right in. Then zip it up. I will update this review if any problems occur on the international flight to Japan on Thursday, but it really is extremely well made, and sturdy. My one gripe is that the current carry on dimensions for the airlines are 22 x 14 x 9 inches and two inches of extra interior length and one of height would mean a lot more high end machines would fit. The listed exterior dimensions of the Tutto are 17 " L x 13" H x 9 " D I mean, seriously, who buys a 150 dollar plus case for a tiny toy sewing machine? Just wrap it in bubble wrap and stick it in your checked luggage.

It's expensive but well worth it. It holds so much and is great quality. My son uses it for school. Very happy with this!

I purchased a Baby Lock Serger and I go to sewing groups so I needed a rolling case. This case is great and cheaper than from the sewing machine store. The wheels are very strong and durable. You can remove the serger from two openings, the top or the side. The vendor sent it quickly and very well packed. I am sending all my sewing friends to this vendor for their serger rolling case. a few have already purchased it and are loving it and the vendor's service.

Very badly made!! i used it for a trip and when i arrived the hotel one of the wheels was missing, nothing heavy inside, only 5kg and nothing stacked on top, and the attachment to the wheel and the bag was heavily scratched. I emailed tutto, they would only offer free US domestic shipping for the wheel and not replying about the attachment to the bag, i bought new and didnt use it until the day of travelling in July which passed the return window, now i dont know if I should keep the bag or throw it since I am travelling and not able to use it now. Very very disappointed to spend CAD220 to get the bag ,since i have had lots of amazing comments about the bag

I have both a Festherweight and a Singer 301 both of these can fit into the case. The case is very sold and study.
