Good kitchen tool to have.
The basket is big enough to do a good amount of lettuce or other greens. It works well to get the most amount of water out and it does it fast. Easy to use, and it light weight.

Salad spinner
The Cuisinart Large Salad Spinner is super easy to use and works really well. It quickly dries greens without bruising them, and the spinning mechanism is smooth and efficient. I love that it has a non-slip base and a brake button to stop the spin. It’s also easy to clean and big enough for family-sized salads. Overall, it’s a great kitchen tool that makes prepping salads faster and easier.

Never thought I'd have so much to say about a salad spinner!
In 2019, I bought a Gourmia salad spinner. Although it was gray and a different brand, it looked like the one shown here (and different from the one Gourmia now sells). While it did feel somewhat cheap, it worked great for me for over 2 years before the bowl finally broke after my toddler knocked it to the floor, and I explicitly chose this Cuisinart one because I wanted the same model. Indeed, upon receiving it, it did appear to be an identical model with a different brand name stamped on the top... however, the new one was very defective. It had some blackened stuff (maybe charred?) stuck on the nut on the lid, and the translucent plastic disc inside the lid was warped to the point it didn't spin well. I emailed Cuisinart's customer service and they were great... with no fuss, they sent me a replacement model which just arrived today. However, their replacement model is markedly different. This listing matches what is on Cuisinart's website, but the replacement matches the one from Bed, Bath, and Beyond (still Cuisinart brand though). I'm still undecided whether this is good or bad. They're comparable sizes, although the BB&B version is a little narrower at the bottom, so probably slightly less total volume. The BB&B bowl also feels slightly sturdier, although I suspect both will still crack pretty easily if dropped. But the biggest difference is the lids. The BB&B lid is much heavier with a more complicated mechanism. It feels much sturdier, but it also feels like more things can break, I'm not sure why anything complex was needed here. And what I liked most about the original lid is that it has a simple plastic nut which comes off to make the entire lid easily washable... the BB&B version doesn't really come apart and has metal screws in it (although nothing that can touch the food, luckily), so I'll be trying to minimize water exposure there which might make keeping it clean a bit of a challenge. Anyway, bottom line here is this is a cheap salad spinner that can easily break, but that should be expected at this price point. But it's a good size, light weight, very easy to use, and easier to clean than most alternatives... just make sure when you get it that none of the pieces are warped and that it spins easily. And if not, at least Cuisinart customer service is very good.

Treat it with care and it will take care of you
I make multiple salads each day. This is the perfect spinner to wash and dry your salad needs. Size is not too large yet does a big job handily. This is the second time I have purchased it. It lasts a long time but word to the wise, the hard plastic outer bowl needs a bit of extra care. If filled with water and heavy make sure when you lift it or dump water out of it you support it well. Don’t lift it by just holding the edge. It will crack and shorten its life cycle. Handle carefully and this will do a great job for a long time.

Works Great and Lasts
I bought this salad spinner in 2022 and am still using it. I have had no problems with it whatsoever. It works great to clean my lettuce and other produce. Cleaning it is super easy. I definitely recommend this salad spinner.

Trusted Design
This has different branding, but it is otherwise an exact match for a salad spinner we had and liked. Only replacing the old one because the bowl broke when it was dropped, but it was several years old. Despite the name brand, this was still very affordable.

Great spinner. Definitely glad I bought a good one and stopped using crappy ones. Just make sure that when you snap the top on that the green snaps are not aligned with any of the little plastic markers on the side. If you align it wrong, it just won’t close properly. It doesn’t break or anything. I’ve been using this now for over 1.5 years. Still great.
