Worx WX696L 20V Power Share Sonicrafter Cordless Oscillating Multi-Tool

Used this on my front porch deck. Worked great. This is a tool that does several functions when a jig saw or circluar saw will not work. You can access areas easily.

The Worx Nitro 20V Cordless Oscillating Multi Tool is an absolute powerhouse! The 5° oscillation angle gives it amazing cutting and sanding efficiency, and the VibraFree technology really does make a noticeable difference—way less hand fatigue during longer projects. I love the slim-body design; it’s easy to control and fits into tight spaces effortlessly. The fact that it comes with 23 accessories and a carrying bag is a huge bonus. Everything stays organized and ready to go. Even though it’s a “tool only” option, it’s perfect if you already have other Worx batteries. This has quickly become one of my most-used tools for DIY projects around the house. Highly recommend!

I have several WORX tools and needed an oscillating tool for some of the cuts I was making while installing 1,000 square feet of luxury vinyl plank (LVP) flooring. It works well for that, undercutting door trim and moulding. The light is helpful in illuminating the work area, the tool is comfortable and the key to remove and replace blades is smartly designed so you won't misplace it. The battery life is good—as are most of my WORX tools. It isn't terribly heavy but it has enough heft to help keep it directed well. The speed adjustment wheel/knob is easy to use and in the many hours of using this tool I have yet to accidentally move it, so it must be located well. Fits well in my tool bag and uses the many WORX batteries I have. A handy tool to have and I use it for more projects than I thought I would.

On this Oscillating multi-tool, I give it only a 4 star rate, because I also didn't get all the accessories that it was promised to include during the purchase. And though Amazon quickly sent me a replacement (to see if it included all the accessories) it still was incomplete as advertised. After that, they did me a solid by giving me store credit to purchase the additional missing accessories (i.e. blades), so they were outstanding with this mishap. So within a few more days, I had the complete set. I've been using this oscillating multi-tool since it arrived. I had a few projects at the home and this tool has not let me down. This is the kind of tool that really helps you take care of issues where other tools like a circular saw or jigsaw can't do quite well. -- NOTE: I've only used it for both wood and drywall projects so far. I find the tool very easy to handle, quite powerful, and very versatile. It accepts all brands of blades, so that is a plus, since I can easily get what I need for the job at hand. Now for some suggestions to the company WORX: For some odd reason, I was under the impression that the wrench was permanently attached to the unit -- kind of like your Sandeck (sander) [WX820L]. Hopefully their next version does something like that. Or better yet, eliminate having to use a wrench altogether and change it to a quick-change method like some other brands (i.e. DeWalt). The LED light needs to be brighter (it is too dim for my taste), maybe add a magnifying lens, so it's a bit brighter - or something? I was doing some projects in some very low light conditions and the LED was not bright enough, it was almost like useless to me. I would also recommend if you can add like a feature where it blows away the dust on the front of the blade, so we don't need to do it with our breath. ;-) I like that it includes a bag to carry it and it's accessories, but what's missing is some zipper compartments inside the bag to store the blades and etc. I find that having the blades and the tool all in the same area -- will end up scuffing up the tool unnecessarily when traveling and etc. This tool should never be offered with the 1.5 Ah battery. It doesn't last long charged, you get like maybe 15 mins. of continuous use. I would recommend anything higher than the 2.0 Ah battery, perhaps best the 4.0 Ah battery for a full day use -- that is what I use. -- FYI: originally the unit was being advertised to include the 2.0 Ah battery, but it came with the 1.5 Ah battery and really a deal killer for me -- hence why the 4 star rate. :-/ Oh, and please offer your 6.0 Ah battery to be more affordable. It's pricier than the competition for the same Ah size battery for their tools. A real deal killer for me.

Every one needs this tool around the house/shop , it's awesome I definitely recommend !!

absolutely LOVE this tool - LOVE that i can use the batteries from ALL my WORX stuff on EACH of my WORX tools, and i have SEVERAL. when i bought this one, it was a very good price for what it is - very easy to use - seems very durable - should last a LONG time - not heavy at all.

I used the WX696L oscillating multi-tool for a flooring project to cut around/under door jams for a vinyl plank install job; over 5 bedrooms, closets, and a hall. It worked well and I was able to get a solid two hand grip to control it for some close cuts. I have other WORX tools so having the same battery was part of my decisions to purchase and it didn't disappoint. It made my project easier to finish.

I really the light weight, easy to use and the power.

Does not come with a carry case like said in the items description. Called Worx and they did not help.
