Wrap was as described. I soaked it for about 2 hours in an ice cream bucket full of water. Easy to work with, held it's shape (didn't fray or break). Metal ties work great as well, especially when using a metal tie tool to tighten. I haven't installed the pipe in the car yet but so far I'm please. For those complaining about it flaking, the fibers getting everywhere, and being itchy here are my suggestions: soak the wrap (the included instructions tell you to do this), where thick PVC gloves or equivalent, where eye protection, utilize a space that can get wet/messy. A lot of these negative reviews are user error. Watch a YouTube how-to video and get to work. Side note...if you think you have enough, you don't. Measuring via a string does not work due to the overlap you need. Better to soak the whole roll and not worry about having extra, because you probably won't have extra. This pipe took almost a whole roll. Pipe dimensions were 2.5 inch OD and roughly 2 1/2 feet of covered pipe. 1 90 degree bend and one 45 degree bend. Each bend utilizes more wrap due to holding the overlap on the outer edge.

Bought for a drift trike and used it for my gokart also and still have enough left for probably 2 more small exhaust easy. Maybe more but doubt it. I soaked mine in water before applying then ran the engine after to help dry out. Metal zip ties are pretty easy make sure you got them positioned correctly and in the direction you wrapped so when you tighten them they don't loosen your wrap. Aesthetically you may want the tie forward or just the band think about that before you commit. Once you got that snug them up snip them short enough to grab with some fine needle nose pliers and then twist the band around the needle nose and down toward the other band. If you don't snip it short before you twist to tighten the extra will awkward bend and get in the way amd not look good. After that you can tap and flatten out the little curl you made if you want. Wear gloves. Mask especially if you're not soaking in water. when cutting you may want to wrap in tape then cut thru the middle of the tape to prevent fraying as much as possible. May be hard with the wet wrap I personally just tried to keep it straight and slow and i didn't have many frays the ones I did get I didn't touch or mess with until I was done wrapping then I went back and trimmed them off quickly and precisely not tugging on any of them.

This is NOT titanium wrap, it’s a fiberglass based wrap. I thought people were joking when they said wear long sleeves, pants and gloves, I only did the glove part and with I would have bundled up. The fiberglass gets freakin everywhere and makes you itch. However it looks great, wraps nice I didn’t even have to wet it to get tight wraps. The steel cable ties provided suck, but overall it’s not bad at all, the DEI stuff is way nicer, but if you’re on a budget this is a good buy for sure. I’d use it again

installed on my 25 hp b & s mower. cuts the heat that causes the valve rods to bend. It did smoke for several hours.

Easy to use, and the instructions are actually useful! And DO use gloves, as recommended.

Able to hang my first pic on wall. Everything went ok, until the misses had me move the pic to another area. Tried to use instructions given but didn't work as intended. Ended ripping a piece of paper off the wall. It really adheres to wall. Hard to remove. Don't know if anyone one has had same issues. Let me if you can. Alex

Easy to install, recommend wearing gloves a some fibers poke the skin and create an itch. Good quality. Nice included stainless steel straps. Installed it on the exhaust on driver side for my 2012 canam commander 1000.
