I have 5” gutter and needed a way to fasten the guard down. Used gutter sealer on the flat adapter part. Then snapped wedge into place so that the wedge can be removed for cleaning.

A type of wet sponge leaf accumulates and becomes stuck on the Wedge Downspout Gutter Guard.The top gutter collects overflow water from rain. It drains very slowly into the downspout. Consequently, it is necessary to clean up the sponge leaf or leaves, which fails, rendering the gutter useless.

Put these in our gutters on the house and garage over the downspouts to keep the Starlings from nesting and to keep the leaves from plugging the downspouts.

Light and easy to install. Might not be a super perfect fit in width but stuck around even through heavy wind. No complaints.

I got these to prevent debris from going down into the downspouts as mine drain into underground drain tiles and I didn't want them to clog up. These guards are fairly easy to snap together and install in the gutter, but they get clogged frequently. Easier to clean the guards then clean out the underground drains, so overall OK for my purposes.

seriously.....it works. Of course, there will always be weird people who claim otherwise, which is weird.

Very small and hard to put together. These are narrow like under 3 inches. I thought they were 4-5 inches. Made obviously for very narrow guttering. The small piece that goes in the down spout is like 1.5 inches . Due to difficulty in assembling I would NOT RECOMMEND. Plastic is very thin and I am sure after a year or two of sun beating on it then the product will degrade.

easy to assemble and install. have to wait until the propellors fall to judge how effective they are.
