Amazon Basics Industrial Metal Bed Frame with Headboard and Wood Slats, 14 Inches High, Queen, Black

Came in large box. Had to bring up in pieces to bedroom. Easy to assemble. It seems sturdy. It’s in guest room not used a lot. But looks nice. Probably took 40 minutes to assemble but that’s me. I’m sure it could be quicker with two people assembling. I wasn’t overwhelmed by the amount of pieces or instructions.

This bed frame is excellent. It is very sturdy, and it does not produce any noise. Some reviews have mentioned otherwise. I can only guess that those buyers did not tightly fasten the bolts holding the frame. Similarly, some reviewers expressed concern over Velcro for the slats and a portion of the headboard. This is some of the strongest Velcro I have ever seen. It will not move despite what others have written. In regard to assembly, the instructions are easy to understand. You may find it helpful to have someone assist you when assembling the frame so that the parts can be aligned as you insert and tighten the bolts. However, I was able to assemble the frame without any help. In summary, I am very satisfied with this product. I would not hesitate to order it again.

This frame wasn’t too complicated to assemble at all. It also feels very sturdy and doesn’t squeak at all. It looks very nice, too. The headboard is adjustable so the bars can be as close together or far apart as you’d like. I ordered a full and didn’t realize they sent me a queen until after it was assembled and I had put my mattress on it

I don’t put many things together and I had zero issues putting this bed frame together. Clear instructions and each piece is labeled. No missing pieces and every screw was used. The bed ,once built, is very sturdy and firm. Would purchase again.

So I went and decided to read a few of the reviews on here and many seem to have had the same issue I had however it also seems many not like me decided to not read the reviews. I also ended up with slats that don't fit and a middle beam that doesn't line up. So furious with the outcome I jumped back on here read from some one else that the foot of the bed frame legs may be backwards. so took them off put them on opposing sides and it all fit like it was supposed to. So my only issue with this is labeling and better example picture because I thought I had put them on the right way but was obviously mistaken. The bed frame is great with the minor hiccup out of the way. Thank you helpful people writing about this.

I could've really loved this bedframe, but there's a few features about it that needs some tweaking. What I loved about this bedframe is the sturdy metal and the strong wooden slats. Alot of other bedframes use cheap wood where it chips easily, but these wooden slats did not do that! And I also loved how thick the metal was, which adds more sturdiness. And it doesn't squeak at all. I saw some mentions about the assembly being difficult, but it was pretty easy for me and the instructions were simple to follow. It took me about 45 minutes to put together. And I liked how the labeling was pretty straightforward. What I didn't like about this bedframe was the "adjustable" headboard. I thought the headboard itself could be adjusted (meaning I could make the bars higher or lower to my liking), however, this was not the case. Their definition of adjustment is raising/lowering the pieces that attach to the headboard, but these pieces attach via Velcro. Velcro on a headboard??? No, thanks! I feel like the headboard is the most important piece and is the focal point of the bedroom, so why compromise it using cheap plastic and Velcro? All of the other parts were made with strong metal, so I'm unsure why they decided to use cheap materials for this part. I just imagined that eventually the Velcro would lose it's ability to stick and that would be a nightmare. Also, if you plan on using a box spring and mattress, then this bedframe would not work for you. It would be too high and would cover the headboard completely. Because of this, I had to return it. Overall, I like the bedframe part and its solid construction, but the headboard part could be alot better! But I still believe it's good value for the price and you get what you pay for.

Easy to put together and very sturdy.

The center support was too short and the wood slats were too big for the queen frame. Very disappointing. They had to send a full replacement out to replace the pieces. Hope they’re the right size. Update: Replacement is also defective. Had to return both units. Was a massive headache. I’ll think twice before buying from the Amazon Basics brand again.
