Great shears, great design, great price!
I've been using these at work for a week now and I LOVE them! The first thing that attracted me to these was the clean, organic and unique design. I had been looking at much more expensive options for weeks but everything that felt good was "over-stylized" for my taste (either too feminine or too tacky). These feel great and look great in my hand... the perfect weight and size. They came ready to use... each lightly oiled in protective plastic and super sharp. I'm using them for every application... blunt cutting, point cutting, slicing, etc. They look, feel, and perform like shears that cost A LOT more. I still can't believe I took a chance on ordering them online, that I spent so little, and that I'm so happy with the purchase.

Very good shears
These shears are very good quality. They came in packaged very well. Each individual scissor was packed in a plastic bag and properly oiled for protection. I also like the guide that was included to give customers tips on how to keep their shears in good condition to last. I work in a barbershop so I cut hair a lot and I do a lot of mohawkish/frohawkish type hair cuts. These shears cut extremely well and they are very smooth and really make my job much easier. I already cut a few clients hair using these and they worked great. I wish i would have taken a few pictures to show but maybe next time. The customers even liked the way they look. Anyway I highly recommend these shears for professionals and nonprofessionals. You will be satisfied.

Good for beginners
I wanted to love these. I was so excited to get them, and when they arrived I was delighted that the bamboo handle, which I feared might look tacky, was very tasteful and almost resembled bones. I opened the blades and they were very smooth. So I took them to work and began to dry cut a clients hair. To my horror, they "crunched." I figured, well, they aren't dry-cutting shears, it's ok. I began to cut a faux hawk with them a few clients later, and they wouldn't cut the design line! They kept bending the hair, and not cutting. So I had to cut basically with the mid-blade, very slowly, but everyone knows that really, most of your cutting should be done with the top 3rd of the blade. And that wasn't happening with these. Again, they crunched. The thinning shears were worse. Very thin, very crunchy. By the end of the day my wrist was seizing up on me. I hate returning things cuz I feel like a jerk but these are not the shears for me. The seller was very sweet about it and the little note enclosed was charming. Also, these are not terrible shears. If you're a beginner, who cuts slowly, or a barber who uses his or her scissors less frequently than clippers, these are fine. But if you're an intermediate stylist, like myself, who does about 10 quick haircuts a day, these are not the shears for you. Also, the 6.5 blade is a giant and I was scared to even try them. So with the thinning shears not being awesome, the 6.5 being too scary and the 5.5 being just a mediocre shear, I ended up returning them and will probably just spend the 250 on one good, ergonomic shear. Again, though, if you're just starting out, these are not BAD and I wouldn't rule them out as a great startup option. In fact, I think it's relevant to note that in my research on shears I found an article listing these as one of the top 5 best shears for the price. And the seller is really nice, so. Give it a shot. But they just aren't for me.

After looking and seeing how expensive a good pair of hair shears can be
My wife is a beautician and is actually the one that uses these scissors. After looking and seeing how expensive a good pair of hair shears can be, I was somewhat concerned that these may not work as well or seem cheap. I can tell you they do not look cheap and my wife says they work beautifully. I have not had a chance to sharpen them yet to see how they perform after a sharpening but I see no reason that they wouldn't perform well. There is a lot of value in these scissors for a reasonable price.

great value
These shears are great! I love them and use them multiple times a day! The texturing shears are starting to get a little dull, after a few months of use. All in all, they are great and the set is a SUPER great value.

Wonderful product
This is a wonderful kit. I didn't realize that I would get a razor with it too, so was pleasantly surprised. The scissors are really sharp, handle beautifully and they fit my hand perfectly. As usual, our Amazon order arrived quickly.

Excellent quality for the Price
Purchased for my son and he is very pleased with the quality and performance of these shears. This was an excellent buy as similar quality is often much more expensive.
