Ordered this to replace our existing cover that was starting it's third winter season. With no apparent rips in it, that old cover was sinking into the pool with the pool water collecting on the surface, despite the balloon holding it up. So I went with this cover as it was listed as heavier and thicker. It IS. I'm impressed with the material. I also noticed the improved quality versus our old cover at the eyelets around the perimeter. much better. The circumference is also more generous than our old cover (18 foot diameter pool).

THIS POOL COVER MADE WITH STURDY/VERY DURABLE MATERIAL, and it also comes with a ROPE and WINCH (to secure the pool cover down tightly around pool.) VERY SIMPLE INSTRUCTIONS which WERE easy to follow and helpful FOR ME, since it’s my FIRST YEAR WINTERIZING OUR NEW pool. I LIVE IN THE MIDWEST, so I needed a very strong material to protect our 24ft round pool against our region’s LONG HARSH WINTER from SEPTEMBER through MAY,:because we get heavy heavy snow during winter. LOOKING FORWARD TO OPENING NEXT may!

It arrived promptly and appears to be made very sturdy! It also appears to be waterproof and extra thick with gusseted eyeholes for extra strength! I paid about $50 more for this cover as opposed to the cheap single ply nylon junk but it looks like ill get more than one season out of it, time will tell! So far I’m extremely pleased with it! It also comes with a real metal cable tightener that really works!

This is our first pool and our first time closing it for winter in Minnesota. We ordered a different cover and knew instantly it would not handle a winter here. After reading the reviews on this one I ordered it. Huge difference! Thick, seems so strong. The only problem was after getting the water lowered, prepping the water, putting the water pillow on, we finally got to put the cover on and noticed a tear by the grommet. Because of that we added plastic clips around the cover to add more security. That is the only reason for the 4 stars and not 5. I will update the review after the winter.

The Pool Cover is incredibly heavy duty, the color is a very deep/dark blue. I picked the blue because it was the least expensive color! It fit beautifully over my 24’ round Doughboy Pool with ample overlap so we could allow the cover to rest on the water and not stretch it. I don’t know why people say the cover is too large, they must not know what they are doing, because this cover was perfectly sized for a 24’ round! We added 4 cover clips per section, so she’s not going anywhere; the cable worked awesome as well. We’ll see how this beauty holds up over the next 9 months (we’ll open her up the 3rd week of May 2026. I live in NY, it’s getting cool at night, so it’s time to say ‘see you next May’ dear friend!

great cover, very sturdy and heavy quality.

The winter cover is super thick. We bought last year at the end of the season to replace our existing cover. Unfortunately, we noticed a small tear in the seam a week or so ago. Uncovered our pool and it was still crystal clear. Contacted customer service through email, they responded within a day. Sent my amazon confirmation of purchase and a couple of pictures and they are replacing without any hassle. This by far is some of the best customer service I have seen in a company in a long time. This is definitely worth purchasing. I dealt with Alex and he was courteous and timely. Again, all done through email which is a great way to handle an issue. Thank you.

Cover / Tarp is a good weight and thickness. Covered the pool really well all the way around. After 1 winter, in Virginia (2024-25), the cover / tarp itself held up better than some of the others I have tried. No holes but a few worn spots. This one will be used for a second season. The winch is a true waist, did not work well at all. The wind would blow the cover up and the cable would come loose with the winch. I believe it is the same type of winch sold with every cover system. We used a ratchet strap with the cord that came with the cover / tarp. This worked really well. Only gave it 4 stars because of the winch. I would purchase again because of the way the cover held up.

I bought this pool cover because the one we had for 5 years finally hit the dust. This pool cover was easy to install and it was the perfect size for our pool and even kept the edges tight around so nothing gets through the winter season. I am very impressed with this pool cover and will buy again in the future.

This 24ft pool is very difficult to find now. After the 3rd (2001)and best one I planted bushes all round (right down the end of the garden and so it is a lovely surprise when visitors come. I have also had steps up and a platform constructed round a part when the steps are. Make your own or get a carpenter. Lovely for stay at home holidays! Mind you - I am blessed with this lovely garden and I know how lucky I am.

Good quality cover

We live up north and the winters are cold. This cover stayed on, kept the water super clean, and lasted through the winter without breaking or ripping. Only problem is the clothesline tie they give you busted. We used clamps instead.
