his tape provides good traction without the abrasive grit found in other safety treads. It is therefore better for bare feet or with socks. Since it is entirely a rubber-like product, I expect it will not wear as long as the abrasive tapes in high traffic areas, but for low - medium traffic it is great. The adhesive has held up quite well so far in my application. The directions do recommend priming any porous surface with contact cement before applying this product. My application is non-porous, so I only cleaned it thoroughly and have had no problems.

I used the tape for a trailer ramp to cover the bare aluminum. Now I don't have to worry about calling 911 every time I walk up this ramp. Although pricey, it's the best tape available and it sticks very well. I'm glad I bought it and would recommend it to anyone looking for good safety walk tape.

This is by far the best option I’ve found, but that said if you’re installing it on a wooden porch, steps, stairs or handicap ramp outdoors you will have to screw down the corners with preferably stainless steel screws with washers & staple middle area. No adhesive will keep it intact due to temperature fluctuations.

I ordered 5 rolls all were like this. It took hours to pick all the little side pieces off 300 ft of this . -5 stars.

Not sure why, but its hard to find grip tape that doesn't use aluminum oxide grit, which is damaging in my application but this tape doesn't have any while still remaining grippy. It works great and has good stick on the back. I will buy it again when needed.

Not for outdoor use. The glue is permanent, yet all of the grey material will turn to crumbling sand.

I bought these to dress up my bulkhead stairs. The were just unfinished pressure treated wood and after 10 years, needed some TLC. Not only does this product stick tightly, it is grippy and comfortable for both bare feet and shoes. From the attached pics, you can see that I put down a double strip to provide a wider step surface.

This tape is AMAZING for barnacle recruitment. Just adhere a couple of strips to a PVC plate, soak the entire thing in crushed up barnacle goo for 12 hours and mount the apparatus on a dock, and BAM!. If you have barnacle cyprids in the water, they WILL settle on this stuff. It's great!

put on ceramic tile and does not stick well. lifts off if it gets a little wet. Needed it to prevent someone from slipping on floor if they have wet feet coming out of hot tub.
