Works As Intended
Works as intended. Strong, won't fall off and fits in perfectly into empty RJ45 ports. Prevents dust from getting in and overall gives an organized clean appearance.

Exactly what I needed
They are great and have enough space ro place tiny labels on them.

Gets the job done
These work and definitely get the job done but they don’t fit snugly as I would’ve liked. A little bit of vibration and they might fall out.

Not silicone
Guess I should have read people’s comments before purchasing. The description of being soft silicone is false advertising. These are hard plastic…

Sometimes too loose
When they fit, they work well, but several switches (mostly TPLink) and one router (Ubiquit), they are too loose and fall out easily. We use these in mobile setups and they help keep volunteers from plugging in something wrong, but they often fall out during transport and setup.

Don't buy
Too loose... keep falling out of the port

It is hard plastic, not soft silicone or other rubber, does not always snug-fit into RJ45 connector
I have to take partial blame the product because I did not check with the seller whether these are hard plastic or soft rubber parts. These turned out to be plastic parts. I tried them on RJ45 ports of different devices, my laptop, desktop, ethernet switches, etc. Most of the time they did not fit snug into the connector. when I shook the unit or tilted it downwards, some dust caps fell off. Since inner dimensions of RK45 connectors can slightly vary, a plastic dust cap is not a good choice, silicone rubber would be better. Even when a cap did not fall off when I shook or tilted a device, the one I plugged into my laptop fell off at the slightest brushing against it (like while carrying it around) Also these are too expensive for plastic parts. (I bought silicone dust caps for USB ports for a much lower price). Next time I would go for soft rubber dust caps. These do have one nice feature that is a knob that makes it very easy to hold them and plug-in or pull-off. (Some other products have no such knob and it can be difficult to pull off the dust cover because there is nothing to grip and pull)

Very Loose
Extremely loose and falls out easily.

if you have open rj45 ports i highly recommend you get plugs like these, AND these work well, (fit good, you can remove easily enough, but wont fall out on their own) Highly recommend these ones for reasons listed above.

The covers are well made, and have a easy grip to pull or insert into RJ45 connectors. The seams are well cut so no burrs. If you want to protect your networking equipment from dust or other matter, these will work great!

These RJ45 dust-covers are made from a very hard plastic that is impractical to trim. I'm guessing that these are clones molded with an existing mold, but not the original softer plastic. The dust-covers stick-out roughly 2mm instead of sitting flush, because that's where a small angled ramp molded into either side of a plug begins; it is intended for a friction fit, but the plastic used in these plugs is so hard that it cannot deform. I tested over a dozen different devices, and the only ones close to fitting are SFP+ to RJ45 modules which have jacks that rely entirely upon the connector clip, so in these the dust-covers are completely unsecured, but at least sit flush.

These are great if you buy a Ethernet switch with a lot of ports like a 16 or 24 port switch when you might not use the ports for a very long time.

The dust caps performed as advertised.
