Q: How do you pull the cartridges out? I managed to put them in but there were no instructions, so I am not sure how to get them out.

There should be a small top you can click open on the pen, the same one you opened to get them in. Open that, then they should simply slide out. If you can't figure it out try searching YT.

Q: what colors come in this pack?

Ours came with: Black, Navy Blue (2), Sky Blue, Brown, Green, Orange, Pink, Purple and Red.

Q: Excuse me for asking what could be a silly question. But does the entire set of inks go into the barrel of the pen? If so, how do you switch colors?

I have never seen a Coleto pen with 10 slots. Most have 3 or 4. They easily come in and out when you open the top of the coleto barrel.

Better for you to get the thicker nib like

I was concerned about the comments that it rips paper. Unfounded! You do have to have a gentler touch. The flow is smooth but not copious so you might feel inclined to press harder. Better for you to get the thicker nib like .5The ink is very thin but no skipping. You might have to adjust your pressure when you switch from regular pens to this one. The refills are perfect for Kikki K Planners. No more scrambling for different pens, you just click and you're good to go. The colors I have in my pen are pink, light blue, purple and orange. I love this and am very motivated to use this in my planner - it makes me happy. Again, the flow of the ink is very thin but not light. Very great colors.
