I absolutely love this piece! I haven’t been able to find Icarus in this pose, and it’s stunning. The sculpture is resin mixed with marble powder, so it has a slight plastic feel to it (though it is much heavier than a plastic statue). That’s not a problem for me, but be aware that it’s not made entirely of marble. Thank you to the seller for including proper packaging to keep it safe during transit.

It is a beautiful statue, unfortunately it looks like cheap plastic, light weight in pale white plastic. White alabaster statue made of resin can be done in heavy weight with the look of marble or stone, when done well, hard to tell if it is nature stone or what material, I have several of this type of statues, unfortunately this one looks plastic when it came out of the box, a casual look by all says it is cheap plastic. That is too bad. I can only keep it at a darker spot to hide the poor quality.
