If you have fine thin hair this can be used for the entire cut . I do a blunt cut in the back with it and face framing layers with side swept bangs. Personally I do not use the lever except when cutting blunt in the back I have to have my daughter do this so that it is balanced and even. For the face framing I hold the hair at 45 degrees and cut straight down, ignoring the leveler, and doing both sides one at a time and using the guide you previously cut as you go down the haircut. It is on point every time and there’s no second guessing. Make sure you’re holding the hair in the angle you want before proceeding. The bangs are super easy too and I ignore the leveler bc they are not straight across bangs. You can do curtain bangs, side swept etc.. It works beautifully for me and bc the hair is thin and fine you can get it done quickly. Definitely worth the money.

I started trimming my bangs at home which was fine with the help of youtube but once my layers around my face grew out, my bangs were no longer blended. I wasn't going for the blunt look. While searching for an easy way to trim my layers without totally ruining my hair, I came across this tool and took a chance. Wow. I have zero hair cutting skills and this was so easy. I sectioned my bangs, twisted, clipped the hair in this tool, pulled it to where I wanted them, made sure the level was centered and cut. Then I did the same thing to the longer sides of my bangs. It worked so well, I kept going. I sectioned the top layer from the back, pulled it forward, twisted, clipped, leveled, trimmed. Then I did the sides, and last, because I was so confident, I split my hair in the middle, pulled each half under my chin and gave my ends a trim. I am stunned at how easy this was.

Clip appears to be well made & would be perfect for bangs. The leveler works & can be seen while cutting bangs. I wanted to use this gadget to assist me in giving myself a single layer bob haircut. Unfortunately I could not see leveling ball as I pulled my hair back. A black ball would be so much easier to see. Clip pulled my hair as I slid clip down my hair & I would have to stop. I ultimately aborted my attempt to use clip at this time. I ended up using Nexus First Aid Tape to aid in my haircut. I DID ENJOY USING THE SCISSORS & would ultimately have come out just as well to have purchased the cape & scissors at the same price, but I was curious to see this product for myself. I may yet use this product to cut the sides of my hair from my ear forward despite the fact that I cannot see the leveler. I enjoyed watching the videos on youtube & I wish its creator well in all of her endeavors.

I've had my eye on this item for years, I finally broke down and paid the very hefty price of $25.00 for it, but I must say that it works like a charm. I have my hair professionally cut but my side swept bangs grow out really fast, I've been cutting them myself for years and although I do a pretty good job, this handy gadget takes the guess work out of cutting my bangs. I have thin hair and this grips nice and tight, I just place it at the desired length, make sure that the "bubble" is in the middle and I snip my bangs perfectly. The accompanying scissors are worthless, I use my own but this is a good thing to have to maintain bangs nice. It holds my bangs nice and snug, its well made, nice bright blue color. Its a keeper. I gave it 4 stars because I feel that it is over price for what it is.

Super easy!! I honestly didn’t think this would work or that I would be coordinated enough to use this by myself. My hair was so long and it’s so thick, I didn’t think I would get the results I wanted. Boy was I wrong!! I’m just amazed how easy it is to use!! This size of clip is for bangs but I watched the videos and it can be used on full length hair! I watched the video for Layers with small Creaclip. I decided to cut my hair following that video since I got the small clip. My hair was in desperate need of a hair cut and it was almost to my bum. I did everything the video said to do. I even used my husband’s electric clippers. I was in such Awwww I couldn’t believe how amazing it turned out! A haircut like this would’ve probably cost me $30 or more! My hair looks so beautiful!!!!! I wish I would’ve videoed the cut so everyone could see the length of my hair and how thick it was. I did post pics of how much I cut off and which size clip I used. I will never step foot in a salon again!!!

For those of us who struggle with bangs - not yet ready for a full cut and style but the bangs are reaching a bothersome length? This set is a game changer! Even the most clumsy of us can manage the level and scissors in the mirror. Buying the set is well worth it because the scissors are very sharp and get it right the first time. Also great for fringing the bangs. Honestly, I'm not brave enough to use it anywhere else but I am totally happy with using it on my bangs only.

My bangs grow so quick, but I've become quite accustomed to having straight across bangs now, it's part of me. I can't afford to see a hairstylist every week when my bangs grow in. This is great, 0 effort at all, just slammed my hair in, cut (it even comes with scissors) and then removed for the straightest bangs I've ever cut myself 🥲 100/10. Amazing product.

Overall, I think the Original CreaClip Bangs and Scissors can be a useful tool for those who are comfortable cutting their own hair and willing to practice to get the hang of it. However, it may not be the best option for beginners or those who prefer a simpler approach to at-home haircuts.
